    You’re thinking of instrumental value.

    If we lived in a society based on intrinsic value, then iron would be valued more than gold. We use iron for nearly every application. Screws, tubes, pipes, farming and a billion other things can only exist through iron. Gold is a good semiconductor but is replaceable by other elements. Iron on the other hand isnt’t.

    You started this thread to convince us of the wonders of multiculturalism. To me this obsession with immigration and multiculturalism has been a disaster for Europe. Crime, violence, social problems and terrorism.

    It has gotten to the stage where supposedly developed countries like Germany, Sweden and Britain tried to suppress knowledge of sexual violence! How is that right?

    Multiculturalism would have been fine if it meant small numbers of people with education and skills moving to Europe. Instead it's an open door for economic migrants from the third world.

    I get that you’re a rereg troll but thats not even what i said. You’re trying to pigeonhole multiculturalism as an event from the last 10 years. I get that. But its not. It’s something that has happened since humans began. Ireland is built on multiculturalism from the bell-beaker era, to the renaissance, to the victorian and its demographic continues to change.

    Ah yes. Pointing out that people have been migrating since prehistory is mental illness.

    How have I ranted? I've pointed out some very disturbing things like the rate of sexual violence in Sweden and Germany. This is linked to immigration. I don't believe there should any taboos about these things.
