thought they'd delay it to allow people get builds together under the new changes. Raid will likely be carnage so. I mean you can play with randoms on hard missions and some of them struggle, what's a raid going to be like?

gear still dropping 494-500 as far as I see despite being level 500. Sure the rewards for dailies etc are 500 but so what. In terms of performance this is a small thing but it really really irks me

My favorite part of that thesis of notes is under NPC:

“Decreased thrower NPC accuracy with grenades. They are no longer professional baseball pitchers or cricket fielders”.

Hilarious.

Overall though big update of buffs/nerfs. Fair play to them for having a proper go at balancing so early on.

my build went from something like Armour 140K Health 50K to Armour 218,000 Health 214,000 in about 10 minutes of messing about with it. Certainly notice the survivability in PvE and don't seem to be losing a lot of damage to npcs.
They sneakily nerfed hard hitting from 15 to 10%
I may swap unstoppable force back to beserk although my build is currently 4 -11-3 which doesn't work. May drop the damage talent on the chest piece entirely in PvE, to retain health/armour or unbreakable tbh.

So I'll hit lvl 30 tonight. What should i be doing next to get the gear level up?

Quick question, I'm at level 25 but have left a lot of side missions and main mission still to do.

When I hit 30, will these still be available? or am I in World Tier 1 and these are removed?

The side missions and main missions will stay on the map until you complete them. The main missions are farmable but once you complete the side missions they are gone forever. Side missions are a good source of xp though to get from 25 to 30.

After you hit level 30 you need to do the final stronghold which gets you into world tier one. From here your goal is to get to World Tier 5 which means doing the relevant missions (they'll be on the map) and a stronghold, which will advance you a WT level each time.

One thing I like about this game (other than its gorgeous, interesting gameplay) it's very easy to drop in and out of.

Join the boards clan, should get 8 on whatever system you on when it launches.

You need to be in world tier 5 and have a gear score of 490+ to play the raid

Just back in after taking a break from D2. Story finishex and Im stuck on GS 300 and cant seem to get it higher, im doing something wrong..

It's you and me (M4ylar) so far. I don't have time for multiple users but I'm as ready as I can be for the raid. GS499 (it was at 504) and a few points shy to max in all specs. Just need one more week to get the Nemesis, should have had this weeks ago but didn't realise I had to get the Tally first

, and still waiting for the bloody D50 to drop. I'm just waiting for a replacement headset after the kids finished off the current one. Maybe wireless will result in a more kid-proof set

I know Dscully, Spear and _Creed_ are the others (If I leaving anyone out, apologies) with decent mains but I'd want to find a similar bunch of lads. Even if all of us got together at the very same time, which is doubtful seeing as I rarely see anyone online, we wouldn't have enough for a raid. Be nice to find another group of relaxed guys so we can create a nice critical mass of player. 20+ regulars would be nice. Would also insist in including anyone below GS490+ who would want to clan up with other guys.

So, if nobody objects to me seeing what is out there I'll see what I can find.

Anyone else's overall gear score dropped with the new patch?

I haven't played since Monday and just looked and saw that my max score had dropped from 509 to 499

Is this some rebalancing thing?

Yeah 500 is the new 515 so if you had pieces over 500 these will have dropped back to 500 and reduced your GS

Have you done the strongholds to go up the world tiers? Each tier has a max GS.

Ive played every day since release and Im away with work for two days and came back to WTF

Looks like some positive changes in the patch too.

Hopefully there will be enough on Xbox Boards clan to get a raid party going shortly

I haven't been on in weeks, will login later and see if the Patch butchered my build and then try and repair it. I'd be up for the Raid with a day or 2's notice. Also anyone needing some power-levelling beforehand just ping me if you see me on, happy to help.
