    Boden. Baby girl.

Doesn't bode well in my opinion.

I think Oenone is lovely. I really like Greek names. Perhaps it's just as well I never had kids. They probably would have been featured on this thread. I would have had to spend the rest of my life apologising to Ariadne, Persephone, and Alciabedes.

You should indeed apologise as the actual name is Alcibiades :)

Mandy appears to be making a come back.

Heard of two in new ones in recent weeks. Really don't like it.

Yeah, I know. I tried telling the auto correct on my phone several times but gave up at the nearest approximation.

More proof, if needed, that giving your kid an unusual name, especially one shared by a licentious traitor, is not a good idea. Best to keep it simple to save repetitive strain injury to your thumb.

    Emberanna-May
    Remaía

Piepyr (more unique than Piper, apparently)

Great name. The leader of the Three Investigators (Introduced by Alfred Hitchcock). Bloody loved those books. Always wanted to live on a scrapyard when I was a boy.

When my niece had a baby.

My Father: What did they call the child ?
    My sister: Ryan.
My Father: Sure he couldn't be Ryan. I knew his grandfather and he was Desmond.

The newest Kardashian baby is called Psalm. Which wouldn't be too bad, except surely he's going to have to spend his life correcting people who think he's called Sam.

    "No, that's Sam with a silent P and a silent L ..."
