    Yeah no surprise really

Only surprise is she changed for plea to guilty

Will be interesting to see what sentence she does get

By all accounts should stay away from drink, not nice after it.

Refused to get off the bus at one of the camogie homecomings a couple years ago at Rena Buckleys club when Rena was captain, along with another couple of players, made a big show. All this while young girls were outside waiting to get her autograph. Some role model!

This is from the Clubhouse live event that was here in Cork today. I always like when Cork are underestimated!

John Mullane was a "bet advisor" for Paddy Power and got FA right. I never remember him backing Cork. Hope everyone gives us no chance

Cork have been Munster champions for the last two years and only beaten in extra-time by eventual All-Ireland champions Limerick in last year's All-Ireland semi-final.

Have played Limerick in three meaningful 70 min. matches in the last 12 months and not been beaten by them (if you exclude extra-time where their superior squad depth and fitness drove them over the line).

Cork are imo 2nd favs behind Limerick but realistically any 3 of the 5 could progress.

It's when Derek McGrath starts tipping your team that you should get concerned. The guy has a hard on for Tipperary and after Davy Fitzgerald is the most overrated manager in World hurling.

Any update on team news? Spillane a big loss. Who’s likely to take that spot?

how the hell dose he have tipperary ahead of cork , cork are munster champions , and tipperary have all the hallmarks of a side struggling for any sort of confidence

i reckon he could be right about waterford as they very well could pick up maximum points at home if that dose happen i think the last game in the group between limerick and clare will be a winner takes all game , cork will probably be through along wit waterford in my opinion

i dont think cork are underestimated at all ,in fact i would see them as possibly the most dangerous side in munster especially with a fit half forward line

I have two free stand tickets for the Cork v Tipp match Sunday. I can email them to whoever wants them. All I want in return is a guarantee they will be used. I think they are for the north stand. I don't have them yet but will by Thursday at the latest.

Cork lead 0-4 to 0-3 after 20min. Galway very defensive, Cork with alot of posession but struggling abit to get through

    Cork 0-07 v 0-05 up at ht.

Interesting first half. Galways tactics confining Cork well, frustrating them and are lively when they attack. Corks full backs line holding strong on a few occasions. First goal will be crucial.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,864 ✭✭✭The White Feather

How on earth did Galway wreck up that overlap just before half time. All she had to do was pass and there was a goal. She didn't and Cork went down the pitch and got a point.

Cork ahead 7 points to 5 at half time.

Again the rules on physical contact are ridiculous

    Fine save from Martina O'Brien

Fine save from the Penalty by O'Brien, a goal then would gave put Galway a point up.

Saoirse on now, she's definitely one that can make a difference.

Finn with great work down down the sideline, wonderful first touch of the game for Saoirse to Scally, Scally points 4 in it, lovely football.

Lovely touch from Scally before scoring. Cork 5 up after 10min

Saoirse hits the back of the net. 1-10 v 0-05, 15 left, game over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 5,475 ✭✭✭zetecescort

2nd Galway goal, lead down to 2 with 2 min left

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators, Paid Member Posts: 36,147 CMod ✭✭✭✭ShamoBuc

Ref really did her best to make a game of it. Cork played the last 7 minutes with 13. This certainly evened up the game. Then another yellow for Galway.
Cork tried to take a quick free with 4 left, gave away possession stupidly but ref gave us the free again- ridiculous refereeing.
About 6 yellows branded in the game, ridiculous.
Late goal for Galway making it an anxious last 2 minutes but the better team clearly won.
Finn and Scally lead the line brilliantly.

    Cork are league champions.

    Cork 1-12 v 2-07 Galway.
