    No I was not.
While making fun of people's names is disgusting and pathetic the argument could be made that it is not harming any one identifiable child.
To single out this little boy for ridicule is disgusting and those who are unable to see that were very badly reared.
    Hang them all :)

Well what do expect from a town where they scoff down Scooby snacks in kinder eggs.

His name is Kynzli. I'm afraid he'll have to get used to ridicule. It's not so much a name as a word you invent to get rid of your Z in a game of Scrabble. By giving him that name, his parents have singled him out for ridicule.

Maybe it'll toughen him up though, like the boy named Sue. If I ever have a son, I think I'm gonna name him... Bill or George... any damn thing but Kynzli.

I once met a child called Luishne. I don't think it sounds very pretty, but means the light at dawn or something.

Close; 'luisne' means bloom or glow. Luisne na sláinte, glow of health. luisne na hóige, bloom of youth. luisne gréine, glow of sunlight.

    Pronunciation of 'luisne'.

    Hence the “or something”.

Hence the qualification. New word for today:
    'obscurantism
, opposition to the spread of knowledge'

I know a Luisne. I think its a nice unusual name. We pronounce it like Lish-na or more like Lizsh-na.

There’s no need for that. It sounds like you think Luisne shines out of your arse.

Was at a rugby blitz on Friday, one kid was called ree Bell, probably spelt rebel but both his coach and teammates called him ree Bell...

I recently met a women called Oenone (pronounced something like ee-NO-nee.) It's a Greek name, but this woman is Irish, born to Irish parents with no Greek connection.

Imagine looking down at a cute pink little tiny newborn baby and thinking, "You know what name would really suit her? Oenone." It's just so ugly ... and I bet other kids called her Onion when she was growing up!

Disgusting to hold an identifiable child up for mockery.
