France have more talent on display, but Italy are a much better coached team. Their forwards are fairly well drilled in comparison to the shapeless France and the Italian line out is far superior.

Camara came right up the outside of the maul there and held on to the ball carrier at the back. Right in front of the AR too.

It's starting to piss me off no end. I think they need to start looking at the laws again.
They should at least make it legal for the attacking team to "remove" defenders on the wrong side.

Either that or a law which states a defender cannot get between the 9 and the ball in a maul, unless defender comes through the middle.

Mauls are wheeling and defenders who haven't come through the middle are like limpets at the back stopping the ball coming out
