Italian scrum tho? Penaud hit it forward?

    Phenomenal tackle from Penaud.

Fabulous tackle, but I mean seriously like. Italy are cursed.

Italy should be about 20 points ahead.

They’re not, they just can’t do the basics. Constant handling errors when they get a sniff of a try.

Italy their own worst enemies, inaccuracy and lack of attention to detail have cost them a comfortable win here, thought they were unlucky on that last try, but criminal not to shift the ball to carry on his left.

He has to get that in the other arm and fend with right. Lack of attention to detail is the truth

Lads in all honesty, how bad are France? I mean they are a mare shadow of the French flare we grew up watching

When Jordan Larmour scored his wonder try in Thomond Park, at the last moment he switched the ball from his right hand to his left hand, so to protect it from Zebo's tackle. That's the difference between great players and the Italians....

Italy should have had a man advantage earlier than the 72nd minute, but other than that they have nobody to blame but themselves. They've had loads of time in the redzone, they butchered a certain try, and Allen has missed easy kicks.

Brilliant by Ntamack to be fair

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Ntamack is going to be a great player.

Italy will have nobody to blame but themselves if they don't win. Wasted so many great chances, missed kicks, etc. That last disallowed try, player smiling and celebrating, not protecting the ball....

And France score a try. All over. Italy butchered their best chance in years for a win.

    Italy are infuriating to watch.

Zanone might not want to go on YouTube for a while.

Ntamack is going to be a great player.

He should be, but France could easily ruin him.

Interesting to see if Italy stick with O'Shea for the world cup. I thought they were unlucky today but its a results business.

Sickening for Italian fans, the game was screaming to be taken from France.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

I’d imagine that’s going to be infintley harder to come to terms with than a hammering loss.

God I’d hate to be an Italian fan, by far the better team and still lose like that.
