Curry getting away with a hand in the ruck off his feet as well for that turnover.

You must have missed last year's game. Wales were robbed in Twickenham.

    Laughable officiating.

Who knew that becoming an international referee was a matter of collecting cereal box tokens!

Jaco Peyper having an absolute mare here

  • Farrell straight off his feet, can't understand the ref there

I'm surprised he didn't let Vunipola away with that one.

He went straight on top of him.

Peypers response to Williams was that he got the penalty anyway?!? Strange logic.

Ross Kemp shown on the big screen for some reason there.

Jamie George got bent in half the wrong way in that scrum. Absolutely smashed.

Yeah seemed like ruck finished, player on the ground should have been penalised for playing the ball no?

    What even is offside anymore?

Where Lawes came in competing illegally there I don't know why the Wales players went to the effort of clearing him out, it's clear he's illegal and if you leave him alone he'll concede a penalty.

Are they offside or is that by not committing to the ruck they move the offside line up quite a bit? BBC seem to go close up for every ruck so I'm having difficulty seeing.

When does he not?? Consistently the worst ref in the world!

Still they didn't beat them. They just never believe it and then they will play Ireland and have the performance of their lives.

That would require having confidence that he'll actually be penalised for it.

I always think that he looks in bad shape compared to a lot of other international hookers and has matchsticks for legs, but apparently he is a really strong bloke.

Typically unpretty and physical encounter between these sides.

I wouldn't be surprised to see England win this by 15-20 points from here.

Wales have to score first in the second half #captainobvious

A ruck was clearly formed and he rushed in from the side to compete for the ball, an exasperated gesture from the scrumhalf would've brought a penalty from the ref. It's a noticeable part of Englands defence, throw players into illegal positions in the knowledge that the opposition will clear them out negating the chances of them being penalised, it slows the opposition attack down and saps their energy.

They're rushing up before the ball is out constantly. It's why Wales are finding it impossible to move forward, they're being tackled before they can even tuck the ball.

You must have missed the World Cup

Also, England 62 wins, Wales 56 wins.

Wales are a beaten team. They won't do nothing in the 2nd half and England will sail to victory.

Not a rugby expert. Was that illegal when the English player burrowed through the ruck and slapped the ball out before England went and scored the try?

They are defo working hard to be off the blocks, but it is also clever that the ruck is 1-2m shorter because no one is on the english side of the ruck.

Wales need to pick and drive more like they did in the 22 that time.
