Drives me mad that virgin media's feed is such poor quality. It's like being back in the 90s.

    These hits are absolutely huge.

Best result for Ireland here is for Wales to completely demolish England, right? Try and reduce their points difference as much as possible.

What ideal from an Irish POV? 8-0 Wales??

No, 50-0 to Wales would be ideal. It would destroy England's point difference.

Wales are lucky that was just a scrum, clearly squeeze ball?

    Gareth Davies. Holy ****

The blocking on box kicks is getting ridiculous. How are England getting away with this?

Tipuric had to tackle Nowell THROUGH Wilson.

Cant see Wales winning this. They are a bit sloppy so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,276 ✭✭✭Thrashssacre

So realistic Wales need to beat England and without giving them a bonus Point of any sort and England also need to fail to get a bonus point against Scotland to even give us a shout of winning on points difference?

Yep. And even then, we'd need to get a TBP for all three games. Including Wales away.

Refereeing is very generous towards England thus far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,920 ✭✭✭✭stephen_n

Sinckler dropped that and England get the penalty, bizzare.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,034 ✭✭✭Amprodude

    Englands slam to lose.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,201 ✭✭✭troyzer

    Offside is being reffed appallingly.

A lot of England's recent great form has come down to routinely flouting rules that are badly enforced.

Offside line appears to be an alien concept here

Wales haven’t quite realised yet that England aren’t resourcing rucks at all.

England haven’t been resourcing rucks in any game so far

Pick and goes are a good counter to the linespeed/constant offsides.

Sloppy from Wales. Welsh heads will drop now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    What on earth happened?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,920 ✭✭✭✭stephen_n

That was brutal defence from Wales

Did he instantly call a Wales offside there while letting England be offside at every single phase?

Yeah, Wales are getting the shaft a little bit here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,201 ✭✭✭troyzer

What's the point playing when the referee is such a ****ing idiot?

Lawes wasn't even close to legal on that strip. England are getting away with murder so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,034 ✭✭✭Amprodude

Wales never believe they can beat England. No guts about them.

    Dreadful from Parks there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,201 ✭✭✭troyzer

Curry getting away with a hand in the ruck off his feet as well for that turnover.

You must have missed last year's game. Wales were robbed in Twickenham.

    Laughable officiating.

Jaco Peyper having an absolute mare here

  • Farrell straight off his feet, can't understand the ref there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,201 ✭✭✭troyzer

I'm surprised he didn't let Vunipola away with that one.

He went straight on top of him.

Peypers response to Williams was that he got the penalty anyway?!? Strange logic.

Ross Kemp shown on the big screen for some reason there.

Jamie George got bent in half the wrong way in that scrum. Absolutely smashed.

Yeah seemed like ruck finished, player on the ground should have been penalised for playing the ball no?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,201 ✭✭✭troyzer

    What even is offside anymore?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 589 ✭✭✭baas baa

Where Lawes came in competing illegally there I don't know why the Wales players went to the effort of clearing him out, it's clear he's illegal and if you leave him alone he'll concede a penalty.

Great fitness from May there, did it all with massive energy

Are they offside or is that by not committing to the ruck they move the offside line up quite a bit? BBC seem to go close up for every ruck so I'm having difficulty seeing.

When does he not?? Consistently the worst ref in the world!

Still they didn't beat them. They just never believe it and then they will play Ireland and have the performance of their lives.

That would require having confidence that he'll actually be penalised for it.
