She also threatened the poor teenager who had Aspergers.

Do these people drink from morning to night.

If that’s how they treat their friends.........

Her brother who she was avenging was in prison, of course, where else would he be.

I wonder was Caseys vote high in Ennis.

Imagine if your children had to go to school with thugs like that.

He got 28.3% in the Clare constituency.

How she only got 5 years for that is beyond comprehension.

With 45 previous convictions she stabbed the victim 23 times and rang the father to say she was dead, then went off to steal a bottle of vodka.

Ah come on, everyone deserves a 46th chance

Sorry to be pedantic but stabbing the sister in law was the 46th chance, threatening the witness was the 47th, stealing the Vodka was the 48th. I agree with you in spirit though, everyone deserves a 49th chance.

Always amuses me when I read something like the above considering all the revelations this past two decades.

Of course it does. Until, one fine day, some scumbag kicks you in the head, mugs you or steals your car whereupon you'll run whining down to the nearest cop station just as fast as your cynical, stumpy little legs will carry you.

If I ran tomorrow and actually spoke the truth and said I would highlight all of this how many votes would I get.

They make my life hell in work.....

A fair achievement for this Ennis Co Clare traveller family .....Ennis is a town that has a growing traveller crime problem which is ruining what was once a lovely town .

    Rodent scum

Even has the head of a rat

I feel sorry for the poor taxi driver. Attacked by 4 travellers and stabbed 6 times yet his attackers (after removing the suspended part of sentences) get a total of only 4.5 years between them.

That's despite having almost 200 previous convictions.

Surely beating the sh*t out of someone and stabbing him 6 times is attempted murder?

You would be looking at fifteen years in America with that kind of record

If you got just a month for each of the 200 convictions and they were consecutive, it would be 16 years jail time. Laughable money racket for those in law.

Oh but it's the council's fault.

So a relatively unknown Dragon's Den participant makes a flippant and off-the-cuff remark about Travellers and gets 23% of the national vote whereas a man stands for election who self describes as a promoter of Traveller rights and gets 129 votes. I'm no mathematician but that kinda speaks volumes.

    I get ya.

Now we just have to convince Big Joe Joyce to do a call out video against the McGinleys and the Wards and then add in at the end that he's also running for election and he'll be in.

There is murders on Facebook. A traveller by the name of Michelle Gray O Brien shared a video of the owner of a homeless hotel refusing to serve the family breakfast due to the behaviour of her kids.
Of course it’s everyone else’s fault and the hotel owner should ignore the bad behavior because it’s only a child gbh.

I had a look at that, completely set up for the recording. That poor man is obviously at the end of the line with them.

Margret is holding a protest at the SDCC offices today, or at least she was planning to. She didn't get much of a response on Facebook, one legend can't go because she's working which must have confused our Mag.

The previous offer of a house hasn't worked out, apparently it's a "Sophia" house, whatever that means. So it looks like she's enlisting the help of a TD, even though they are robbing her blind. Is there anything to be said for another mass?

On behalf of the decent, hard working people of Tallaght I sincerely hope she doesn't get housed here. We have enough anti-social problems as it is.

Its gone beyond a joke at this stage. What more can she be put through and her 7 kids. I know the council are struggling to source a house big enough but i think a new build would be the way to go.

I don’t know the ins and outs of the incident in the hotel in Tullamore and can’t watch the videos in work, well I can but I’m not going to.

However, some hotel owners have been known to treat those being put up by CoCo’s in a very different way to how they treat other customers and I have seen this with my own eyes. I witnessed one lady being told to hurry up with her breakfast because they needed the table for a ‘paying’ customer. My heart sank.

Going on hearsay I heard similar about Apollo house, things like not being allowed to use non-plastic cutlery and just generally being spoken down to.

I really don’t know what the answer is but homelessness is a money maker for a lot of people but is also a way for ****ty people who are not happy with their own lot to look down on others. I suppose, today’s musing is that for every Margaret Cash there are thousands of genuine cases also

    She’s obviously a traveller with 7 children.
The ‘Hotel’ seems to be just used for homeless people. Because of this it should be staffed by people trained in their specific needs.
The owners obviously at the end of his tether and should stand aside. No moneys worth the abuse and aggro of trying to deal with feral humans.

There were interesting comments from Dublin City Council Chief Executive, Owen Keegan. He says that if beds weren’t made so readily available that there wouldn’t be a homeless crisis. Does he have a valid point? https://www.irishmirror.ie/news/irish-news/fury-after-dublin-city-council-14012757

I don't think there's anybody here that doesn't have sympathy with those genuinely homeless.
Those who have worked, paid taxes and who unfortunately got caught with the boom bust in this country. Trying to make efforts to pay a mortgage, but defaulting through lack of finances, trying to keep it all afloat. Rents are scandalous so high. Childcare is high. I understand , I get it.
What I don't get is a traveller who has €100k sitting in the bank, demanding a house, but not just any house, a house with a room for each kid by the looks of it.
Whatever happened to double and triple bunks, sharing rooms and beds?
Whatever happened to being grateful that any roof over your head is better than none at all.
Whatever happened to getting a job, a part time job, going out, earning a living?
Whatever happened to not going out for drinks, and saving the few euro.

    This crap makes me sick.
She's riding us, all of us, bareback, contraceptive free, and leaving us pay for whatever consequences happen.
And we're all afraid that the pc do-gooder brigade frown upon us.

Just doing a bit of googling on Bernard, he stood for Dail Election in 2016 and got 129 votes.

Sounds like he got the votes of all the educated* travellers.

    * the ones who can spell X

And no wonder the hotel, catering trade have had it with her likes.
Happened to stop off for a quick bite to eat in a fast food place in the Midlands recently.
Traveller family taking up 5/6 tables, a good 15 or so of them. Sat back, threw orders at the cashier, burgers, wraps, cokes, ice creams, you name it. They say there, shouting, roaring, calling the cashier for their food.
Poor girl delivered their food as fast as it was coming out. Demanding feckers, salt, sauce, straws, she was wrecked, all they had to do was get up and walk to the counter and get those items.
Savages, fries on floor, wrappers stood upon, sauce packs squashed, pigs.
And not one thank you, not one.
