It was unbelievable. I was ready to turn off the TV after that Van Dijk effort and I look back up and it falls to Origi. Just incredible. The atmosphere was electric. Beat that Man City.

If like me you can't get enough of that ending - Here it is from every possible angle and no commentary just crowd noise :)

That is just glorious. Every bit of it.

From Allison giving TAA more opportunities, to VVD's miscue and him turning around in disgust to only turn back and see the goal.

For both Sturridge and Origi having a striker instinct to follow up just in case, to the sound of the ball hitting the crossbar, the header, Pickford's appeal to assistant refs for some reason and then the look of horror on his face.

Then the Kloppmeister showing he's the fittest manager in the premier league and also the celebrations of backroom staff and Salah, Moreno and Shaq on the bench.

Finally the noise, it was tremendous, why? Because the fans stayed there till the death, whereas at many other clubs they'd have left before the final whistle.

Love it, and won't forget it for a long time.

I'm actually a bit nervous about the Burnley game, they really need some pts and it's never the easiest place to go, add in the fact mane, Robertson, and Bobby might be rested it could make for a tough night

Do you ever go into any game with confidence?

No way either he'll rest all those players.

Finally dropped Firminho from my FF team for the Arsenal forward who's name I can't spell, it kind of sounds like bommerang. Didn't sleep well last night, feel sad. Hopefully Bobby makes a fool out of me.

Was it not already said that robertson and mane have knocks?

Anyway, squad management important now. Rough week or so coming up.

I was liking the team and thinking it should be enough for Burnley then I spotted Moreno and winced a little bit. I'm guessing Hendo will probably play though, it was only a one game ban I presume.

I still think we have more than enough depth in the squad to beat Burnley.

2 goals in injury time to beat United to the title.
    That will not be beat.

Very true, remember very early on in Klopp's tenure he said that he couldn't believe people were leaving early, but I think he said he understood that the team needed to give the crowd belief so they would stay, that has happened now.

Klopp says Mane has a bad cut on his foot from the Everton game that requires stitches. He's walking around in flip flops. That will be him out for Burnley anyway you'd imagine.

Robertson not serious but they still need to take a look at him.

No harm Shaqattack or Originals deserve a runabout.

What sort of team do ye expect to see tomorrow night?

Just thinking here, and I think Origi is going to start again, maybe play him with Sturridge and let Origi do the running and pressing for 60 and give Sturridge the space that way, not burn himself out and running etc. Let Origi run the channels and that and then plus when Sturridge starts to drop deep like he always does, there will still be someone still in the box keeping the Burnley defence pinned back. Now is the one game you have to start him I think - confidence on a high and giving Firmino the rest / drop.

Moreno is going to play I'd say as Robertson needs a break.

I have a feeling Lovren will come back into the side and that Gomez will move to RB - 3 taller lads who are good in the air to deal with Burnley's long balls & aerial strength.

Personally, I would play Fabinho too. But I think Hendo is gonna play cos he is back from suspension and it's away from home. There must be a reason why Milner didn't even feature the last day, possibly being saved for Bournemouth and play the 90 there. Keita also needs a start sometime soon, but probably more likely at home or against Bournemouth.

Think Firmino will be dropped and Salah I'm not sure yet - possibly. iirc last season he was rested for a couple of the Christmas games - Stoke away where he came off the bench and scored 2 and then Burnley away aswell where we heavily rotated.

    Alisson
    Gomez Lovren VVD Moreno
    Milner Hendo Fabinho Shaqiri
    Sturridge Origi

with the option of Shaqiri moving into the front 3 on the right

There was still plenty leaving Anfield before the finish, I remember commenting on it at the time to the person I was watching it with, really can't understand it myself

yep... 91st minute and people were heading for the exits. Can never understand it.

On tomorrow night, I wouldnt see both origi and sturridge starting. Dont think klopp will disrupt the team that much, especially if he's making changes in mid and def. 6 changes would be way too much imo.

Can remember watching that 3-1 defeat to the Mancs in '15 in the pub, not long before Brendan being sacked, and saying to my mate that I can't leave the pub before it's done on principle but as soon as the whistle goes I'm gone and then stormed out when it finally finished. Don't care about how bad the game is, or if we're winning 10-0 or the traffic after a match will be insane - the team leave the pitch first.

The game kicked off at 16:15 For Irish fans means it makes it very close to get the last flight home to Dublin on Ryan Air, You'll always get a few legging it early ,

We can’t start with Sturridge and Origi. Last time we played a so called weaker team away and messed with the side we were turned over easy. Burnley isn’t an easy place to go, we need to keep it going. Full tilt

It's senseless going full tilt when in the next 10 days we will have a tougher game away to Bournemouth, then Napoli & United a few days apart.

Need to keep players fresh for those 2 games. This is the game to freshen them up.

We just played 2 tough games also. Expecting the same 13 players to play every game is only asking for injuries.

Whenever I see his name I think La-Ka-Blud-Clot which makes me think of the nickname Black Suarez which is a bit of a double entendre :pac:

I'd give Gini a rest, he's played a LOT of games. Hendo and Fab would be a good pairing, Klopp talked about how playing two 6s plays to Fab's strengths...
