ahh come on now. There are war criminals, paedophiles, even if you want to keep it to politics theres chinese and south american leaders starving people to death, theres kim jong un who keeps all of his people oppressed. There is definitely a list of people currently still alive and definitely historically who have been infinitely worse than donald trump.

Jeffrey Epstein will be the subject of a civil lawsuit.
https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/article219494920.html "The civil lawsuit was an effort by Roberts not just to clear her name, but an attempt to prove that Epstein and Maxwell operated an international underage sex trafficking operation."

You can read about the unspeakability that is Jeffrey Epstein in the article.
One of the man who was accused of sexual abusing a victim 6 times was Alan Dershowitz, Trump lawyer and defender. Epstein was defended by US attorney Acosta now secretary of Labor for Trump.

Epstein and other traffickers used model agencies to recruit and groom young girls as well as picking up vulnerable poor girls and offering them money to give massages.

Casablanas had a big agency with underage models as did Donald Trump.

THis was the case filed by Jane Doe against Trump and Epstein:

    https://www.mondialisation.ca/katie-johnson-v-donald-j-trump-and-jeffrey-e-epstein-trump-child-rape-claim-for-100-million-denied-by-trump-attorney/5534676
“Plaintiff was subject to acts of rape, sexual misconduct, criminal sexual acts, sexual abuse, forcible touching, assault, battery, intentional and reckless infliction of emotional distress, duress, false imprisonment, and threats of death and/or serious bodily injury by the Defendants that took place at several parties during the summer months of 1994. The parties were held by Defendant Epstein at a New York City residence that was being used by Defendant Epstein at 9 E. 71st St. in Manhattan [known as the Wexler Mansion]. During this period, Plaintiff was a minor of age 13….”

This is the testominy of the victim:

    https://creativeonion.me/the-metoo-story-no-one-is-talking-about-ea1d23f63384
Defendant Trump had sexual contact with me at four different parties in the summer of 1994. On the fourth and final sexual encounter with Defendant Trump, Defendant Trump tied me to a bed, exposed himself to me, and proceeded to forcibly rape me. During the course of this savage sexual attack, I loudly pleaded with Defendant Trump to stop but he did not. Defendant Trump responded to my pleas by violently striking me in the face with his open hand and screaming that he would do whatever he wanted.
Immediately following this rape, Defendant Trump threatened me that, were I ever to reveal any of the details of Defendant Trump’s sexual and physical abuse of me, my family and I would be physically harmed if not killed.
Then Epstein, rapes Jane Doe, and threatens her family’s lives, and then this happens:

Defendant Trump stated that I shouldn’t ever say anything if I didn’t want to disappear like Maria, a 12-year-old female that was forced to be involved in the third incident with Defendant Trump and that I had not seen since that third incident, and that he was capable of having my whole family killed.

I am coming forward to swear to the truthfulness of the physical and sexual abuse that I personally witnessed of minor females at the hands of Mr. Trump and Mr. Epstein . . . I swear to these facts under the penalty for perjury even though I fully understand that the life of myself and my family is now in grave danger.

Just before Jane Doe was due to give a press conference about the case this happenned:
Jane Doe was here all day. She was prepared to go forward. She has received some terrible threats, as have all the Trump accusers who I have been representing for several months. She was in great fear, and was unable, ultimately, to do this.

I woulkd guess the company Black Cube used by Wienstein and Cambridge Analytica was deployed to make a credible threat to the life of the defendent or her family to save Trump.

Given that Trump's access to hundreds of underage girls through his and other friends modelling agencies, his attendance at these Epstein parties and god knows how many others over MANY DECADES I would believe the above episodes could have happenned 10s or 100s of times with different underage girls.

The crimes we see this monster performing now in plain sight or nothing to what he has already done.

Some of what I've read on this seems a bit strange, and makes me ask further questions.

The point from some commentators is (including Nate Silver), even if its proven that there was fraud in the 2 counties in the district, that they may not constitute a large enough change in the numbers to result in a change to the actual election result. In one county, there were around 700 absentee ballots counted, of which the Rep received 450. So even if they were miscounted, it wouldn't make up a 900 vote deficit. Though one article I read does state that there were a significant number of absentee ballots that were requested, but don't appear to have been returned, with the implication that they may have been destroyed/un-counted. If that's the case, then there are enough potential votes to change the result.

However, I would have thought, if its proven that there was election fraud, that it should remove the candidate running for office from the running, and potentially have criminal implications? The most that seems to be getting said is that it would invalidate the election & call for a re-run.

Yes - 2 counties had a "unreturned" rates significantly larger than any others - The Average rate was something like 20% and Bladen county had a non return rate of north of 40% and another was over 60%..

I'd agree , that regardless of whether there were enough votes impacted to change the results , if it's proven that the candidate (or an employee of their election team) were involved in illegal vote tampering, then the result should be nullified and another election held.

Also worth noting is that the GOP candidate won the primary against an incumbent GOP guy and there were questions asked about behaviours in that vote too.

I love how he is talking up the removal of the tariffs as if he has brokered some amazing deal to fix a problem someone else created.

In essence it looks like they've gone back to the exact same situation they were in before this mess was created, and he's trying to sell it as if he's saved all of America.

I know that some people in his base will try to play this as if "Business Man" Trump has done a great deal, it really is the blind leading the blind

Trump is unhappy with how much the US spends on the military. This was after he increased spending on the military.

I'm sure this is was all part of some genius plan of his we aren't getting but someone will create the plan soon for us.

Witness tampering is the section of the US penal code he's referring to. Could be obstruction of justice too.

“I will never testify against Trump.” This statement was recently made by Roger Stone
"I would take a bullet for Donald Trump". This statement was made at one time by Michael Cohen.

At this stage, given that only sentencing remains, its likely that he was referring to Trump trying to influence Cohen's sentence...

Pretty much as predicted, now that the midterms are mostly over save the NC case, media are expecting Mueller to come out with 'stuff' this week - more indictments. 192 criminal charges filed so far, impressive, across 36 people. Michael Flynn and Manafort on the docket for this week, Tuesday and Friday resp.

According to Peter Carr, Mueller's spokesman and "No Comment" specialist, a lot of the Manafort memo willl be public.
But Peter Carr, spokesman for the special counsel, confirmed to Yahoo News on Monday that the Manafort memo “will be public,” although he added there could be some portions that are redacted or filed as a sealed addendum. The Manafort memo has been requested by the federal judge in his case so that prosecutors could, for the first time, spell out what matters they believe Manafort has lied to them about.

The article is by Michael Isikoff and also contains some other interesting titbits such as:
That message was reinforced to some degree Monday when Mueller’s office talked to congressional investigators as part of an ongoing discussion about whether new subpoenas for testimony by House and Senate committees might interfere with Mueller’s investigation.

The response, which surprised one investigator, was that it would not, at least in matters relating to alleged obstruction by the White House in the Russia investigation itself. “What we were told is that the investigation has reached a mature enough stage that they’ve basically talked to everybody they want to talk to,” said a knowledgeable source who asked not to be identified because of the sensitivity of the matter.

    As will Cohen's.

Plus whilst Comey's appearance before the Senate will be closed, the transcript of it will be released the next day.

All the while Eric T is having a go at KAH's husband for stating in a tweet that Trump's tweets about Cohen and Stone are effectively obstructing justice.

This week is going to be mental.

A victim who was 13 at the time was on the verge of bringing Trump to court until she was threatened.
She accused Trump of sexually assaulting her and rape with Jeffrey Epstein.
Presumably Jeffrey Epstein is part of the Jeffrey Epstein circle?
Dershowitz has repeatedly publicly defended Trump: as lately as last week. He still works for Epstein.
Acosta who defended Epstein in his case is now Minister for Labour.

This is only an internet forum. You personally are not on trial. Could you park your gaslighting and BS when it comes to discussing the rape and abuse of minors?

Sentencing Memos coming up this week which will reveal a lot of the Mueller investigation. Flynn's today (May be sealed), Manafort's on Friday wont be sealed.
Memo will be explaining in detail how Manafort lied to thwart his coperation agreement.
Mueller will use these memos to cover the possibility of a hostile AG supressing his final report.

Uhh, secretary of Labor not minister :) And it's labor in the US. j/k

Epstein is nothing new, though the Miami newspaper expose is interesting. I want to point out, that when Epstein was making news (before Trump was in the picture), Dershowitz was mentioned and the guy went nuclear, saying things like he'd 'destroy' any lawyer that took a case against him and have him disbarred, etc. etc. Dershowitz's not a nice guy and (IANAL but am related to a few) threatening other lawyers was over the top. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-30705703

Two wrongs don’t make it right though, so you should drop your defence of the indefensible!

Of course I mean come on the US only spends way more then any country on the planet on their military and has even increased that spending under the current regime. How could he not be unhappy it is just not enough.

As I understand it, all Americans file tax returns directly, so surely they already have whatever he's made available, and as someone whose known to be involved with numerous shady or crooked individuals, they'd have been sniffing around him for years?

You can assume Mueller has them right from the beginning. So whatever they reveal to him has already been followed through on. But making them public means that they are now available politically as well. So it will be a storm in the media and the houses of congress. It could completely destroy his ambitions of running in 2020. Assuming he gets that far of course.

What time today is the Michael Flynn document being released ? I realise that some of it may be kept under seal but it's expected to be filed today in court.

There is a diffence between your tax returns showing money being paid to you for business deals with Russia and any tax issues that may raise, and having dealings with Russia whilst running for president and claiming to have nothing to do with them.

So what happened to stone saying there was no situation he'd testify against trump as he'd have to lie ?

Isn't pleading the 5th basically saying if you said anything you'd incriminate yourself.

Lindsay graham and bob corker had a briefing with the CIA director and are clearly annoyed about what they heard about mbs and his involvement in the murder in turkey.

It's the safest legal strategy for him vis a vis Congressional committees. By pleading the 5th, he can't be accused of lying to Congress later, if anyone else has said something that he tells differently. By pleading the 5th to Congressional committees, however, it doesn't reduce his exposure from.evidence of alleged wrongdoing that might have been supplied from other sources, such as Cohen and/or Manafort/Gates of Credito/Corsi.
