Fair play to England but Australia have been absolute dirt.

Australia are so bad they’re making England resemble a competent rugby team.

Starting to think Cheika might be getting the sack after this.

    Wallabies already in the pub.

Cheika probably done now albeit I fail to see what Australian rugby does instead. Problem is bottom to top and everything in between.

Posted in here a couple of weeks ago saying I thought England were decent against NZ.

Think they’ve been very average today, lots of mistakes.
As for the Aussies, despite then being one of our biggest rivals it’s not great to see them this poor, a good Australian team is a must going forward. MC could be in trouble after this.

As poor as Australia are, Ireland still made hard work of beating them in the summer, and I'd still back them to up their game for the RWC. Write them off at your peril.

Take Pocock out and they just aren't the same team. They also are missing two players because of shenanigans which is something Australia urgently need to put behind them, they've far too many off field discipline issues and it's inevitable this impacts on field discipline and concentration.

Australia could turn around and beat anyone in the world with a full deck and a reason to play next week. They just have terrible consistency and a lot of headers in the squad.

They aren't afraid of Cheika anymore either.

Didn't Farrell throw an arm up in the air?... Sure that's an attempted wrap...no foul at all

I hope you’re right (obviously don’t want them to beat England or win it for that matter) but probably rugby’s great entertainers. Would be a bit of a shame for the tournament if this Australia turned up.
Nice try at the end to be fair

Yeah, fair point, Australia proved a harder nut to crack than NZ.

Why does Colby start with 23 on his back?

Saffers getting nothing from the ref.
Cynical holding by North, pretty blatant. Should be a pen and yellow.

Fair play to Wales. Great result for them.

    BBC hilarious.
South Africa beat New Zealand, Wales at home beat tired South Africa side. Opens up the world cup for Wales.......

How did Farrell get away with that?

no doubt he will do it at a crucial moment in the world cup and be finally severely punished - will be all the sweeter then!!!

With 2 teams that traditionally peak at the WC in France and Argentina they could potentially be in trouble at the pool stage again.

Two tired and lethargic Southern hemisphere teams today.

    This is some game.

That's a late tackle by the Fiji player but he was committed and essentially the French player then ran into him. It's robbed Fiji of scoring one of the best trys we've seen this year.

    A basketball offload from Nakarawa.

Fiji shoot themselves in the foot. Perfectly good try scratched off for a no wrap, late hit on Huget.
Should be a yellow, but given Farrell's incident consistency that it isn't a yellow.

some pass there for the try by Fiji that was subsequently disallowed due to a late tackle beforehand
