Anyhow... to add to the rumour of proposed marriage between Diageo and Aphria ... 2 more bigwigs have left Diagio for Aphria.
Tom Looney US president of Diageo
    Jakob Ripshtein CFO.

Following appointment of other heavy hitters Michael Serruya, Schlomo Bibas and John M. Herhalt.

So ya! tip pick is for Aphria

I have a few of these since a post of yours on pot strocks in the summer.
There is talk of Altria taking a stake too and with it on the NYSE now the way has been paved.

    In on Aphria today

Where are ye buying Aphria ?

on Degiro it seems to only list TSX and Frankfurt

Thought it recenty listed on the NYSE or NASDAQ?

On the NYSE since Thursday last but don't see it on DeGiro other than Canada and Frankfurt. Hardly any trading in Frankfurt though so would have to be Canada.

Anyone who followed me into EDRY again after the 40% run previously, from ST:

Bouncing nicely off resistance and support lines, should keep tracing up.

Look for a run if it breaks above the blue line.

There is divergence on both indicators. ie neither followed the new high in price action.

    Any thoughts on RGSE?

More dilution incoming but sentiment is good.

Maybe an easy in and out play, down 8% today.

TOPS moving nicely again, dip bought at 1.80, EDRY taking it's time it seems.

    Thought it was shipping season..

VSTM / VKTX / NIo / APH all looking good for today.

Anyone eyeing up anything else? Looking for options.

I sold GALT yesterday near the top of the spike for once. I'd liketo get back in as from these levels I think it could be a 3/4 bagger but would prefer around 5 or under.

LEDS has closed up the last 5 days, it's pre ER spike could be very close.

Best play would be Altria for pot stocks.
The management would most certainly be looking for either a significant stake or buy one as a subsidiary.

Can't seem to see APHA on degiro for the NYSE?

Altria have had talks with Aphria (this could get confusing) not long ago.
Aphria made a statement that talks had been held but nothing agreed.

Just get Aphria in Canada no!

True. I guess it's a case of, using a Canada analogy, skating towards where the puck will be i.e. big tobacco looking to cash invest themselves in pot.

    EDRY earnings on the 8th.

    Should get it started.

Thoughts on earnings? To buy the dip or not.

Depends on how big your position is at the moment, how the midterms turn out, and how ready you are to take a low float risk.

I personally think they'll beat earnings and it'll take off but I've been in since $9.50.

Got in at a similar price myself. Pulled the trigger there. If it gets within a few dollars of book value I'll take the profits. Way up with TOPS. Have dip bought twice so used that to pick up the extra EDRY.

Just on the tobacco interest. I think any of these emerging companies would be cautious of being associated with 'evil tobacco' , especially as they're getting their nose in the tent via the medical benefits route (evil alcohol ain't as dirty a word..yet). So for that reason I'd be in two minds about banking on Altria... but of course they would have buckets of that evil tobacco money to throw around. And if it's all about first mover/mergers and acquisitions then they might take the queen's shilling.

Good news for VSTM holders, though in the opposite world this stock lives in, good news means red so we'll see what happens.

I don’t believe so, where did you read that?

"Verastem cash on hand for the quarter ending June 30, 2018 was $0.169B"
The raised another $150M with convertible bonds last month.
With a 350M market cap they're not far off, in theory anyway.

Some more info about cash here.

    All green this morning.

    What's that mean

When a stocks market cap is similar to its cash holdings minus liabilities.

Read that twice and took BS to mean bullshit. :pac:
