heroes tubs are 5 in tesco.

    Only 5.00 Cadbury Heroes Tub
    valid from 10/10/2018 until 16/10/2018

another will probably drop to 5 after that date. Quality street were previously 5, so celebrations or roses should be next.

Roses appear to have gotten rid of Brazillian Darkness. What Kraft are doing to Cadbury gets worse and worse!

Tesco *had* them a few weeks ago (bought the last 3 boxes in Maynooth at the time). They did not have a Christmas display of them.

Dunnes have Roses listed at €5.99, why do they do that when they will be automatically brought up to €6 at checkout. While at it why do Dunnes give 1p coins in change.

Em, no it won't... rounding only applies to cash sales not cards (which a lot of people use), and also if you combine with other purchases, it may round down rather than up depending on the total.

I have had the same issue with Lidl in the past. They rounded the price up even if you were paying with card.

Oh wow. I stand (or sit!) corrected. I must watch out for that, though have never noticed it before.

This is on sale in the UK (So, it might come here) a TIN of roses. It's 800g and priced at £8 at the moment!(I know it's not a bargain alert but some people love a tin.)

They probably include the weight of the tin:pac:

The metal tins are still in supervalu

    https://shop.supervalu.ie/shopping/food-cupboard-seasonal-quality-street-tin-1-2-kilogram-/p-1558316000

    Quality Street Tin (1.2 Kilogram)
    €8.00 €6.67 per kg

    these are €12 in tesco
    https://www.tesco.ie/groceries/Product/Details/?id=297556763

The tubs are 720g, so the tin is 1.666 times the size. So at 8euro it is like €4.80 for a tub.

They are not normal maltesers though so 275g for €3 is actually a very good price. They are the ones from the celebrations tub which everyone knows are the best flavour/variety! :pac::D

I know they are not normal, pretty sure they have a higher ratio of chocolate which is why I would expect higher weight. Just saying the 3euro items in dealz are usually amazing value, often much higher grams per euro than the 1.50 deals.

The mars pouch listed a few weeks ago which contained these type of malteasers were 450g.
