Was a very nice but windy day in dublin, out of the breeze it was warm.

    Stop moaning. Embrace it.

    Only messing sounds terrible seriously.

Coming up to 72 hours of persistent rain now, impressive that its managed to rain for that long in fairness. The Met suggested it might clear up this evening but mistiness has increased with visibility no more than a few hundred metres now :)

Hard to believe I'm in the same country with people talking about summer-like heat and sunshine

Lovely day in Dublin today. Warm and a good bit of sunshine. It started off cloudy but even the clouds looked pretty interesting, I'm sure some people would've thought the sky looked boring though. Here's a picture of Casino Marino I took at around 10am showing bits of the sky.

    Absolute stunning sky tonight
I have to say for the time of year that’s in it this spell of weather has been heaven for me
    Relatively dry and mild
Lovely autumnal colours on the trees
    No winter jackets needed
    No heating on
    Not pissing rain

    Pity it has to end

    Strange indeed.

Here there is finally a deep and impressive silence. After non stop heavy rain hurled against the dwelling by gales up to force 8, for 72 hours, this is bliss.

Was outside very briefly and when it gets light hoping to take the dog a slow, long ramble before anyone else is up. Very tired but that will heal,

Bizarrely warm in Dublin today, you'd know there's some tropical air being pushed up.

19.9c here and really feels it despite the howling breeze. Exceptional temps for this time of the year, yet quite poor drying at the same time.

I'm going to give the lawn a mo in a minute I think .. liks dry enough and the pavements are bone dry. may as well take advantage of it

Tried to cut some grass out the back earlier (with a hedge clippers as we don't have a big garden :o) and it proved to be impossible. Very wet and 'mulchy'.

fantastic day today. I was in Dublin earlier and it was unbroken sunshine there, much more cloud here in Meath but still some nice sunny breaks. You would swear it was mid July, going to have a bbq dinner later on today!.
