No network operator would sell DUAL SIM phone in Ireland and as far as I concern all Pocophones are DUAL .

I'm starting to dream about this Pocophone, I want to scrap my Mi A1, was going to get a Mi A2 but this Pocophone seems too good to be true. I just don't like the plastic build quality though, only thing stopping me since I love the feel of metal in my hands. And how many software updates will this phone get compared to an android one or Pixel phone? I hope it wont get abandoned after the Pie update. MIUI and all that :/

    None of them are right
it is £240 for the last one btw ,add £20 for DHL tax free delivery and you’ll pay around €300, pretty much as any other place.

Simple firmware patch while installing the carriers bloatware (3+ etc) and splash screen can disable the dual sim. My P10 from Three for example is dual sim capable but because of three's modified MiUI the second sim isn't viewable in settings so can't be enabled. If I was to install a rom, it would be available.

What's the issue with dual SIM phones in Ireland?

Second question, is this phone much of an improvement on my OnePlus 3?

None. But no European carrier will offer a dual SIM phone on a contract.

Demark's three network has at an inflated price for the phones.

^^^ Denmark xiaomi release some models with 3 there.
(page in Danish use google translate.)

Prices of the launched models are:
    Redmi 6 ~130€ (990 DKK),
    Mi 8 ~470€ (3480 DKK),
    Mix 2S ~535€ (3990 DKK)
Appears you can't buy them without signing a 6 month contract with 3.

They offer the Mi8 but is the dual SIM slot functional?

Have my Pocophone ordered from eGlobal. Where would be the best place to buy a cover? Looking for something to give it a more premium look (maybe a black glass like back). Thanks!

I ordered my Pocophone yesterday from Honorbuy. I'm looking at getting a good cover too but I can't find much at the moment. I'm not too worried about the look, it's the screen I want to protect.

Best I can see at the moment is this.

Wondering what everyone else has done.

I gave up on cases and screen protectors years ago. Cases bulk up the phone and it's a far nicer experience without any form of screen protector.

This looks very similar (!) to the Spigen.
Have one (different brand) for my Redmi Note 5.

    That's the one I've ordered

Tap Setting, About phone and then tap Kernel Version about 5 times to access loads of diagnostics and testing bits

Edit: also tapping Internal Storage a few times gives you more.

Tapping CPU gets to send error logs.

Tap MIUI version a few for developer mode.

And Android version for the Android easter egg.

It's eGlobalCentral generally the better way to go than AliExpress for ordering this? Slight price difference but guaranteed no customs Vs who knows?

Where is the best place to pick this up? A seller based in the EU preferably.

You're right about eglobal delivery. By the time you get it, you've forgotten what you ordered. Better with Amazon, if possible.

I bought mine from Honorbuy on Saturday night. It's just arrived this afternoon, would have been here yesterday but DHL messed up. Can't wait to get home and test it out.
