    Unbelievable start

Tiger is on fire. Ridiculous stuff.

Vintage Tiger. I've laid him but I'm thinking I've done my money at this stage. I should know better as I'm old enough to remember him in his prime.

Tiger and Rose are on the clock now. Let’s face it, they can slow it down even more and the pga tour will do sweet FA about it

Rose pulling out that f€&king green book every time

I've noticed Rose seems a bit slow on the greens, wouldn't have thought either were bad overall though

He is very slow. Between his greens book reading and the pre-putt routine he does for even short putts.

Very noticeable on the short putts alright. If Kevin Na did that the commentators would be slating him!

That said.. he can be as slow as he wants next week if he brings home the points. Good thoughts from Casey there too... great to see him playing well in advance to his RC comeback.

Earlier in the round he putted and went no more than 2 foot past the hole and he said to tiger that he would finish out before tigers putt.
He then proceeded to mark, clean, aimpount, finger up putter up one eye closed, remove the marker, step back before addressing the ball and tapping it in....

Re Rose, at best you could say that he can be efficient, "machine-like"(Rich Beem), business-like(himself). All less than enthralling qualities.

With that lie rose has on 18 unlikely he’ll make birdie so should be Rory and tiger

Crossing my fingers for Tiger and Rory out in final pairing tomorrow.

So we have Tiger and Rory in the last group tomorrow :)

Brilliant, the way it should have been the last several years, if it weren't for fate, frailty and form.

    Can't wait

Justin was asked about whether 10 large was in his mind. Obviously we can't answer that question but do you think, for someone who's won multi-mllions already, do you think it really matters?

Feels like we have been waiting years for this to happen. (Mods.. would be great if people would only post in one thread tomorrow rather than the same comments in the Rory tread, Tiger thread and here)

    7:05pm tomorrow

I can see Tiger imploding on some hole (first par 3 on back nine, 10 or 11)tomorrow.
He'll fall away setting a morose tone for the RC next week where Phil will have the last word on Tiger being late for his tee off time Saturday morning only to be dropped for the afternoon and win his singles when it counts for nothing on Sunday.

I think Tiger's too far ahead to blow it now.

Its an amazing to see Tiger play the way he is at the moment, never thought you would see it again. At the same time he is 43 in December, one has to assume he hasn't got many years left (3-5 max) so enjoy him while he's playing like this consistently.

It would be a massive bottle job if he didn't win it now, I think 3 shots is too big a lead to pull back, I'd say McIlroy and Rose are probably going to have to shoot a minimum of a 63 or better to win.

Hard to see woods blowing it but it Rory or Rose can get a few early birdies this could be fantastic tv.

Tiger has put himself in fairly decent positions going into final rounds this year and I think for the main part he has struggled to last the pace on Sundays. I wouldn't bet against him by any means but I think he'll need every bit of that three shot lead.

He looked drained yesterday at the end. I’ve sctully never seen a golfer sweat so much. He is obviously extremely fit but just sweats a lot and it would be hard to replace those fluids, salts and electrolytes over the course of the round no matter how much he drinks.

Hence being fatigued physically and mentally thru dehydration.

Interesting to see if he lasts the pace.

On a positive note I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone hit laser irons into greens like he has this week.

Some difference between Tiger and Rory's putting stats... could be the difference tonight.

Putting is the shot/stat with the highest variance in golf and can flip easily from round to round or tournament to tournament.

You have to putt well to win a tournament but predicting who that might be is next to impossible. Obviously some players are better putters then others but in terms of predictability other shot gained metrics are much better.

Lads I’ve missed the whole tournament so far. How has it played out?

Tiger is 3 ahead of Rory and Justin. Tiger and Rory paired in the final group

Beem predicting that Tiger won't win! Bit surprised at that
