    MOVE ON FFS!

It would be just as useful to remind the nation on drivetime programs, Sean O’Rourke or Prime Time that outstanding NPPR charges and fines need to be paid ahead of a house sale, simply so as people can do that immediately/be prepared to budget for it in upcoming house sale. Simple as that rather than drag it out on Lahvlahn as a showfiller.

TWODAY'S De Brand NEW & IMPROVED so to speak 2-18 Joe Duffy Wurkday Calculator and dat:

Wurkdays in 2-18 and dat: 181
    Joe Shows: 144
    No Show Joe Shows: 37
    Breakeens 4 Joe: 37

PBH (de full-time host of de show) Shows: 32
PBH guest appearances and dat: 1
    D'Omen Shows: 4
    AN Udder Shows: 0
Good Fryday No Show by nobody at all at all: 1

    NEW FEATURE SO TO SPEAK:
Fateen's Estimated Fees (De FEF Matrix so to speak) to date dis year:
    AT LEAST €360,000*

(not including de EXTRA FEES for 3 days of De Beast From De East TV + Radio Simulcast Xtravaganza + likely "Danger Money" for travelling to and from wurk in de snow and dat).
    King-World-News-WTF-Is-Going-On-Here-864x400_c.jpg
*de fees are calculated at €2,500 per show x days dat Fateen is in so to speak. Dose fees are likely conservative and outdated as day are 2 years old so to speak.
I'm including Good Fryday as a Wurkday as it is not an official Bank Holiday/Holiday Day. Even Pat Kenny is in Newstalk FFS, but no-one in RTE of course of course.

It's nodda tax, it's a charge sez he....just loike de TV Licence Fee and dat so to speak.

I, quite naturally, object to any justice that involves me being raped over a barrel.

I'm not listening to the show, but I wonder whether any caller has mentioned that the NPPR charge will disappear completely 12 years after the
    tax was due?

Edit - by which I mean that any liability to pay the NPPR charge will disappear.

If Joe had a half-competent researcher, then he would probably have announced this during the show, but the kind of gobsh1tes working as WhineLine "researchers" far prefer to spend their time looking for halfwits to call the show, rather than establishing the facts.

De researchers research callers to call, caller. Mebbe Joe tinks the callers are de researchers because the questions asked by him are so obviously unanswerable by de person on de udder end of the line.

Or to put it anudder way; what a dumb show.

Yo, I might have missed something, and jumping to conclusions but no Podcast of yesterday's programme available, and it was a hatchet job as usual on Ryanair - wonder did they step over the line and if theres an injunction ?

    Just guessing.

I'm assuming it's pure laziness, they'd put the non-Ryanair elements up if that alone was the contentious issue. They have form in this btw, sometimes things can take days to put up.

I dunno. I would have called the last section with de van both race baiting and Michael O'Leary baiting. RTE probably pulled it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,028 ✭✭✭✭ButtersSuki

Wow (as he would say himself).

I didn’t hear the show but just from reading the thread we once again see the petty, bullying side of the great man of de people. I can only imagine the sneering tone with which he called out the lady who rang in offering an alternative (i.e. not on de same page as Fateen) viewpoint, basically I assume trying to imply she was a curtain-twitching busy-body and crank.

He’s such a classy guy and a true professional.

Perhaps a Northriddern topic for Joe tomorrow, what colour was the kneecap...
In the documentary, set to be broadcast on BBC One Northern Ireland on Tuesday, Dooley was transported in the back of a windowless van to an unknown location to meet the gang.
