Keep in mind, dates are not always as accurate as the estimate you get and they sometimes ship them out earlier anyway.

I soo want a stainless steel, but pointless ordering a cellular one in Ireland!

I agree but I couldn’t bring myself to take off my stainless steel and put on a sport, would feel like a downgrade even tho it is a big upgrade coming from the original

Ordered a Series 4 silver aluminium 44mm at 8.16. Delivery date the 25th at the moment. Upgrading from an original, so looking forward to the improvements.

I assume the old straps still fit the new case even though it's 2mm bigger now?

Did you order that from the UK store as it is not showing up in the Irish one as of yet.

it's only the screen that's 2mm bigger. the case is almost identical.

All current straps on the market will work.

Stainless Steel options are cellular only, we only have the GPS version in Ireland because no carrier supports e-sim.

Ordered 40mm gold with pink sand loop strap for the wife. She’s been wanting one for ages and I had to keep telling her to wait. Due 25th September.

Ordered 44mm black nike for myself with the black loop band. Due 5th October.

Anyone know a good site for buying straps that isn’t in America?

I wish they kept the "old" gold from the series 2.

My wife has a gold series 3 and it's almost rose gold compared to my series 2.

Does the UK apple store ship to Ireland?
I suppose I could use my Parcel Motel address.

Yeah I used parcel motel, had to do the same when I ordered the original before it was available in Ireland, might bump up the liability with them just to be safe

Got mine, 2-3 week delivery. Hopefully it's a bit quicker!

17% off from my Apple buddy helps.

That’s a nice discount. It means you can use it for a month or two and if you don’t like it, you can sell on with no loss.

That’s what I done with the first watch.

Anyone notice that the EU Apple site has no mention of an ECG feature...

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,833 ✭✭✭s8n

if I purchased in the US it would have the ECG feature, right ?

According to this lot, it will require a new app which won't be available at the launch. So I'd imagine the watches will be the same as over here.

It's a bit disappointing that they seem to have discontinued a lot of the leather straps

Can anyone recommend a brown leather strap for the 44mm model. I’d like to get the Apple one but they have discontinued it.

Prefer high quality rather than just a cheap one,

    TIA
