If it's of a any use to you...I would highly recommend Lisbon as a hol destination...weather is perfect, people lovely..if you're a fish or pastry lover you'll be well looked after...and the world heritage site of Sintra is 45 mins away by train and is an absolute must do at least once in your life

Looking out at a changeable evening and delighted we live where we live. My BIL in South Carolina has just phoned and I wouldn't swap weather patterns with him for anything.

Going to catch up on the newspaper for a while.

Ha ha, it wouldn't work. I tell him all the time he has to marry me so I can stay here and he was saying he would prefer Irish weather so I told him we could get married and he can live in Ireland and I can live here.

Bed beddy bed bed. That's good enough news for me :)

Husband away with work tonight so should be home early tomorrow. Big Dog is doing his ManOfTheHouse thing and barking at every little thing.

Still unwell and now I'm so tired and clumsy. Badly need a full night sleep. I think I have a perforated eardrum because all pressure suddenly went and now I can't hear. Thankfully I'm well stocked with painkillers so off to the land of nod I go. Doctor appointment made for tomorrow evening. But it doesn't bode well that the receptionist said "now just warning you, its only the locum tomorrow" I said that's absolutely fine and she replied "oh....okay..... well we've had him here before and I am warning everybody that he's back"

At home with my dogs. When I do the grocery shopping I buy licorice all sorts to give them a sweet before bed. There’s only the all black ones left. Baby dog looks like someone sh1t on his pillow. Hates the black sweets he does.

Bed, wide awake because I fell asleep on the couch earlier. (Long day yesterday caught up with me.)
Purring contented cat beside me and a decent book to read. :)

Smurfjed; I am much abed just now and all but out of books so watching youtube and riveted by the various Customs series. The huge planes ....Not for me ! My last flight was the Airbus coming to Ireland after the tiny Islander. Huge admiration for thee and all who so expertly fly these monstrous birds...

Ah lovely. For some reason your original post is blank and it was not until I came to reply that the url came up ....only regret is that I did not realise how draining regret is until I reached this age....
