Earlier I had a 6 oz angus burger in a brioche bun with melted Charleville cheese, gerkins and ketchup.

I must admit though I'm not a fan of those brioche buns, I found it had a strange taste :3.

I usually use a brown seeded bap but they didn't have them in the shop. I don't mind the brioche ones but they are high in fat. The strange taste is just the butter, it's bread made a specific way with butter.

Brioche is lovely but a sweet bread also, and very French. LIDL sell chocolate-filled brioche buns that are delicious, and a larger sweet version also. Soft in texture.

Never seen it being used as a savoury before.

    Just coffee so far.

Had my usual four Weetabix for breakfast and now I'm at work sucking on two aniseed balls.

Hadn't had aniseed balls for years until the weekend when I saw them in Aunty Nellie's sweet shop in town. God they are so good :)

A heel and a slice of Brennan's wholegrain bread lightly buttered and Chef ketchuped, a Durano smoked sausage out of the airfryer, sliced homegrown onion and mature white cheddar cheese. One more Americano smooth now and I'll tear iron.
