Is Joe getting worse at understanding what callers are saying, or is he being even more deliberately obtuse lately?

    Shouldn't think that is possible.

A priest comes on supporting Michael D and he's the first member of the clergy not to be asked about abuse this year.

    It's called playing the system
I don't know. You carn earn almost €40k and go on the housing list for Dublin, Kildare, Galway city. You carn earn almost €30k and go on the housing list in Galway County and most of the LAs around the midlands.

Can't see anyone leaving a job because they want to stay on a housing list. Unless that caf or restaurant is paying the wages of a Philadelphia lawyer.

Perhaps the employee is a lazy cnut, or perhaps the employer is paying peanuts, but to blame it on the housing list seems a little far fetched to me.

Top Tip: To make Lahvlahn palatable, listen on TuneIn and keep pressing the "30 >" button to try to fast forward 30secs. It makes infinitely more sense.

Fr Iggy is completely wrong in claiming that the office of President was the most fiercely contested part of the Constitution. The most contested aspects were External relations, the role of the Roman Catholic Church, and the territorial aspect/ Ulster.

Don't know where Fr Iggy pulled that 'fact' from, the role of the President was a ceremonial office from the very beginning.

Was he not saying the actual creation of the office was hotly debated / opposed? Given the times, I'm not surprised at some people wondering where it was going.

I'm not aware of any such debate.

Given that the Constitution provided (and still does provide) for a King, the creation of the role of the President seemed even less relevant in 1937 than it does today.

There would be an element of synchronicity to this if someone rings in to say that they were savaged in the Phoenix Park by Michael Ds dogs.
