If they weren’t dropping in price I’d leave them alone but not willing to lose value this early.

There are so so many ways to go with it though.

Think I’ll do the double transfer now and if anything happens with the rest of my team (only 3 played Saturday) I’ll wildcard on Friday.

I don’t want 5.0m or 5.5m players on my bench. So one of my transfers needs to be a 4.5m player.

Westwood & Mitrovic

Maddison & Kamara

I’m sure there are other options too but time running out now for me to make a decision.

So so so many options already this season.

I could pick 2-3 different teams on a wildcard and be happy with each one.

Kante wouldn’t be getting near any of those teams either.

I did Sanchez to Pedro with my first FT. I'll probably do peltier to either taa or Robertson later in the week with the other one.

I wouldn't be mad on luiz but he will do for now. I haven't seen Chelsea apart from motd gonna try watch them next week to get a good look at Alonso .

Watched them Saturday evening, porous in defence, but Alonso bombing forward, good returns from first 2 games.

I fell asleep and didnt make my transfers in the end, wasn't too enthused on the options anyway but leaning towards Pedro/Kamara. Logged in this morning full sure Id see that I had lost value on Odoi/King/Cairney/Cedric but all held on which was a nice surprise contrary to fffix prefictions.

Now can spend the whole day mulling over what cheap players to get in to save value until Aguero is benched and I freak out and wildcard

I went with Pedro & Kamara.

Only just though.

Fixtures swayed it but nothing wrong with going Westwood & Mitrovic either.

Aguero is gone the first game he is benched for.

Using WC now is easy as there are lots of options and it’s not hard to put a very good team together.

Salah, Fraser, Gunarasson, Richarlison, Cairney
Firmino, Arnie, Aguero

I have already shipped out Eriksen and brought in Fraser. Fraser was a player I should have gone with at the start of the year so I am rectifying that error which is why I jumped early this week. I was .5 mil short for him in my initial team which is how I ended up with Cairney.

That's left me 4 mil spare. Alonso has 24 points in two games. Chelsea will keep clean sheets and he has attacking potential.

I think my next move will be Cedric to Alonso. Leaves me with 4 premium defenders which I never want to have (I like cheap defences) but then the game has evolved since I started playing with wing backs bombing forward. As well as that, Shaw is only 5 million.

That will leave me happy with my team (going into today anyway) bar Cairney.

I will have 2 million spare though so have the option of Aguero to Kane or upgrading Cairney to Mikhi for a -4.

Sane to B.Silva
Cedric to Alonso

...and possibly Aguero to Auba

Cedric to Mendy is another option but gives me four City players, so would have to do Sane to someone other than Bilva.

No room for club sentiment in this game, leave that at the door.
I know a city fan who refused to have Ronaldo in his team when he was tearing it up for united, needless to say, he had a poor fpl season.

I don't hate man city as a club at all only in an fpl sense. I could have put my post better.

Did Coleman to Alonso for my first transfer anyway. The Coleman early-season-risk didn't pay off and I don't like his 5.5 million price tag in retrospect.

Was dead-set on having Alonso and was then put off him by being told Sarri's tactics wouldn't allow him to get forward as much.

If he has a bad game any given week he could be dropped for young
The lack of right back options could see young start there for a while though
Either way Shaw isn't a long term pick and won't survive my WC
