    Well people can say what they want about the state of the world today, but i think we are where we are today because of the white race. Theres not too much innovation coming from Africa.

    The point remains though that its ok for the media to push black pride down our throaths but no mention of white pride. Why?

    You keep referring to a white race as if you're an American.

    Just because you and I are white, doesn't mean we have any connection to the white people's achievements in the US, so I don't see why any random white person would have pride for achievements of another white person thousands of miles away.

    If my mother (still alive) had been from the southern USA its quite likely that as a child she would have met an elderly black person who had been born as a slave. That's how recently slavery existed in that country. Blacks weren't even people - they were property. That's their starting point.

    Full of black pride?

    I googled sky news and black pride and all I got was LGBT news.

    It was all today during the coverage of the death of Aretha Franklin. 3 to 4 times a week on RTE news usually at the end of the broadcast and it will all be about immigrants in Ireland and how they are proud of their race and culture and how that has continued since moving to Ireland, its subtle but the message comes across.

    Im sure plenty on here have seen it.

    Well, for a start claiming that RTE force black pride down our throats. I'm sure they covered it a bit today, with the death of Aretha Franklin and all. But in general you'll hear more about Ryanair and scarcity of fodder for our farmers.

    I think the phrase you are looking for is "cultural appropriations". Considering that James Bond is Scottish monarchy and family has a long history of serving the British establishment. This Legend doesnt fit.
