Hey I'm just going by the attitude here. Maybe have less kids if they can't afford to keep them? I mean thats the regular answer! They reproduced beyond their means.

    Apparently they're fools
She will get what she wants. I've a level of admiration for that. Alot of posters on here claim they are the "poor me" and "fools" for working to earn their 50k a year with mortgage etc.. With the level of state supports available I have to agree. They are fools. They made their choice of working to feed their lifestyle whilst this woman found an alternative path. Right?moral? productive? She won't be loosing sleep.

    (Notwithstanding the "feed their lifestyle")

We really need to find their Facebook pages first and scan them for evidence of inappropriate spending on communion dresses or otherwise before an informed decision can be made.

These are a working family ,one who served his country ,
The other is a lazy bone iddled madam ,there would be no need to question their lifestyle choices or criminal record .

But it wouldn't surprise me if some held little miss cash in higher regards

Spending money you earned yourself vs spending money you have been given by the State is vastky different.

I'd have absolutely no problem seeing this family housed. They are doing their best and actually working for a living and setting a good example to their children. Ms Cash is a parasite.

Also faced with an uncertain future is a Tallaght family-of-eight currently “overholding” at a property in Tymon North.
Margaret Cash and her partner John McCarthy have been living in Castle Park for the last two years.

    19_Castle_Park_10_resized.jpg

The house has been sold in the last year, but despite efforts to find alternative accommodation, the only option the family were given, was a temporary weekend stay at a Gardiner Street B&B two weeks ago.

“They’re taking the mick,” said Margaret, who has been on the housing list for six years, and registered the family as homeless in May, when they were aware the new owner wanted them out.

John said: “We have four kids in school at St Aengus and don’t want to disrupt them. On top of that, we have all been living and sleeping downstairs, because the upstairs is in bad shape, with no insulation, mould, damp and a leaking roof. We just want any old place nearby and would be happy to do it up ourselves.

“We gave up our Traveller life years ago and settled down, but we don’t have a family that would be willing to take in six children.”

The family’s rent allowance is capped at €1,000, but they have found they are priced out of moving to a new property and face discrimination because of their background.

Margaret continued: “The council were aware of the repossession a year ago, but we have been getting the runaround. We’re afraid to leave the house in case the locks are changed.

“It’s causing us awful stress. We know we are not the only ones looking for a place but they do have housing. Where will we go with six children ? They’re not giving us any hope.”

    http://www.echo.ie/tallaght/article/no-solution-in-sight-with-ongoing-homeless-crisis

That article is from 2015 and apparently she was on the housing list six years at that stage

She's up to 11 years in her latest claims

Epic! The young lad in the background not only giving the middle finger once, but doing it with both hands! Shows what they think of the tax payer.

So she's there moaning 5 years ago that the council won't give her a house cos she has six children. So what was the next logical move? Ah yes, have another child!

Oh, nearly forgot! The school uniforms on them too!

I'd hazard a guess and say that the family from Kildare aren't hauling around criminal convictions either.

That family should be housed permanently now.

The strategy now is to take pictures of boarded up houses to make the council give her one because the bastards only give houses to people 13+ years on the waiting list.

She must be the only person in the country not to have heard of NAMA. 😂😂

The cash one is now complaining that the council told her she could be waiting 13 years to be housed in a 4 bed house .

Another 5 or 6 years for her then

If you post public pictures of your family on Facebook in a situation that you yourself have caused , looking for sympathy and things you don't deserve, and are not entitled to ,then yes, you do deserve to have your life dissected . The fact that you believe Margaret Cash, who has never and will never contribute to anyone else in this country, is "entitled" baffles me .

Since when has anyone " a right to be housed " ?

Since the inception of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. Article 25 -

    Article 25.

    (1) Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.

    (2) Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance. All children, whether born in or out of wedlock, shall enjoy the same social protection.

There was a Bill proposed around this time last year to enshrine the right to housing in the Irish Constitution, but given it was proposed by a crowd who nobody can ever take seriously in the first place, it was unsurprisingly defeated -

Dáil defeats Bill that would make housing a constitutional right

So what to do with them? She can't or won't provide for her family without social support. That's the end of. She isn't about to find herself a 50k career in IT nor does she want to. She is where she is and rightly or wrongly that's the states problem to sort out given there are kids involved.

Put the kids into care and leave mother to fend for herself?

Leave the kids with mother and withdraw social support leaving the kids vulnerable?

    Gas them all?

So many judgemental posts and not one viable solution among them.

Mother of god, some of the kids will have to double up...
    In their free house.

    O the humanity..

My money remains on optics for a good story.

None needed. She's achieving her goal using the legislation that we as a nation have set down for her.

She's doing just fine and will get what she wants regardless of the pity party amongst the "workers"

If Cash is the poster child for homeless groups does it put question marks over how genuine a problem homelessness is? If this is the best they can come up with its hard to take them seriously.

There is a solution . Get off your hole and go to work . Don't have 7 kids if you can't afford them . It's what I've done . It's quite simple really . If welfare weren't dishing money out so easily these people wouldn't be breeding like rabbits because they would be like me .. paying my own way in life .

Well for a start a three bedroom house is sufficient for many families with as many kids . She is no more entitled to a larger house than they are
