Fcuking Prick of a cat

He's been playing with a mouse since 6.30pm in the garden.

Toying with the poor crather. Smallest cutest mouse ever. Stays still for ages, makes a run for it thinks he's away and basterd cat just stretches a paw and flicks him up in the air, and scoops him back in, and licks/sucks it. Being going on hours.

Just after distracting the fcuker with a few dreamies, picked up the mouse and put him somewhere safe. Cat now looking frantically for him where he lasr saw him.

    They're cruel fcukers.
    Should have got a dog.

Be thankful that the cat is keeping your rodent problem under control.

Took you about four hours to feel bad though...

The cat didn't lick that cruel streak up off the floor :pac:

Hes after wiping out half the passerine population of my area in Cork despite two bells on the fcuker.

Wouldnt mind if he just ate them quick. It's the toying with them I hate.

I was hoping by the time I'd the dinner on, kids fed, cleaned up after, and had sat on the jacks with my head in my hands for an hour of me/quiet time, he'd have the thing eaten.

But no. Still flicking him around.

Was it a regular mouse or a pointy nosed field mouse, they don't eat the field mice

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,024 ✭✭✭Carry

That happens only with well fed and spoilt rotten house cats.
You should starve your cat (only joking) and the mouse would be dead and eaten in seconds. Stray or wild cats wouldn't do all these shenanigans, not at length anyway.

Cats have a hunting instinct but if they are not hungry they just enjoy the hunting as such hence the "playing" with the poor mouse.

My certainly spoilt rotten house tiger didn't play long with mice, instead he caught them quickly and brought them alive into the house where he set them free to show me his hunting skills. Needless to say, I wasn't amused.

Cats are cats. Nothing you can do.

Dammit Jim, I'm a doctor not a Murinaeologist....

(He was a tiny tiny mouse. Nose was pretty pointy though.)

Sounds like a pigmy shrew. They are really tiny and cute, with a pointy nose.

Sounds like a shrew rather than mouse.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

It took you 4 hrs, ...... 4 hrs to figure out how to catch a mouse :D that the cat brought in as a demo tool. The poor cat will have to put a bit more effort into teaching ya the trade or your sure to starve...

Cats are natural born killers OP.

If you were smaller than a cat it would rip your head from your shoulders without batting an eyelid.

    Ha!
He was very easy to catch! Literally just picked him up when the fcuker's back was turned, munching his dreamies.

The shrews around here are decimated.
They make this high pitched sound that the cats just zero in on.
Then when they hide they keep making the noise so the cats never lose them

Now that's a thought, if u woke up in the morning and found u had shrunk to the same size of a rabbit say. Would the cat u have been feeding and caring for since it was a kitten kill you.

    They love wild rabbits also.

Pure hunters, it's an instinct which will never be bred out of them.
