Let's be real here, there's only so much you can do naturally and that dramatic change seems extremely unlikely.

To be fair to Bale, the Batman Begins physique is much closer to his 'norm'. He also started from that stick thin figure, got way too big and was told to go off and lose some weight. Arrived from filming having been eating everything in sight and lots of fast food. Sure he was dubbed 'Fatman' when he showed up first. So cutting into that shape after being a little too big isn't that unrealistic.
