"With the piece and quiet of the gardens, the amulet might be easier to figure out. The gardens are close, so more time to study the amulet"

    Vrakrash shrugs.

'Worth a shot. We are sort of pushed for time here... as much as I like a good fight.'

    Vrakrash runs for the crevice.

Sarric leads the others downstairs and northwest into the hex room and the south west into the garden terrace, as the last of the party enters, he closes the door and refill his tankard with ale.

The gardens provide a much more serene environment, with the beautiful scenery and sweet smelling ale poured by Sarric.

"After the day I've had an ale looks good" Iuric gets himself an Ale too.

Jeremy cracks the specific incantations required to guide a small stream of magic through the device.

The amulet shines brightly, filling the garden with light.

When the light dims, Sarric, Jeremy, Iuric and Ser Boros are gone.

Vrakrash leaps toward the crevice, dodging a blow from the ooze that cracks the floor beside him. Reaching the crevice he pushes forward as fast as he can to reach the other side.

Karinth leaps through after him and they enter a passage running North-South.

Behind them, the whole plane shakes, collapsing the passage they just squeezed through.

'Time to run I think, Karinth.'

Vrakrash pushes North as fast as he can.

    Dhurn Dharal smelting pits:
Beneath the town with the mansion and beneath even the city below it, the group emerges in the smelting pits of Dhurn Dharal.

A gigantic cauldron of lava has twenty stream of lava flowing from it, being forged into weapons and armour. Four sets of massive DwarrowTitan armour sit in four alcoves within the chamber, ten times the height of a man.

The dwarven workers look up as a flash appears and the four adventurers fall onto the ground.

They enter a cave with some sort of purple powder in the air, emitted from glowing fungi. It grows thicker further into the cave.

It is too thick to see past the cloud.

'No time to delay. We have to push on.'

Vrakrash takes a deep breath of clean air before holding his breath and running headlong into the cloud.

Iuric stands and looks around at the spectacle. He tries to grab the attention of a nearby Dwarf "Greeting friend, I am a little unsure of where I am, what level of the city is this?"

Vrakrash emerges through the cloud, to a small door with a circular receptacle in it.

Karinth coughs as he emerges, holding his head.

    "I feel odd dragon"

The amulet seems to have been set to return to its home plane, but not capable of shifting to others.

Vrakrash kicks the door open and helps Karinth through.

The door doesn't budge, it is too solidly held by the wall.

Vrakrash examines the circle receptacle and tries to insert the amulet into it.

"The surface? One of the airships docking at the eight level usually go on to the first. From there ye just leave via any of the many guard posts."

The receptacle accepts the amulet and unlocks. Mechanisms in the door click and crack and it lifts upward.

A freezing cold draft blows through out into the cave and strange low pitched sounds can be heard deep within the pitch black passage ahead.
