Iuric catches the piton and nods to Vrakrash "Thanks" then he tries to place the piton at the edge of the gem and hammer it down into the gem housing.

Iuric manages to chip away at the gem and pulls it free from its housing.

The runes near the mage glow.

"No need to even melt it, just give it to me" the mage calls near ecstatic with happiness.

Iuric tosses the piton back to Vrakrash and hands the gem to the mage.

Vrakrash puts the piton back in his pack.

The mage casts some sort of bizarre draining spell on the gem and siphons green energy out of it.

She then hesitantly steps out of the circle.

    "Thank you...one moment"

She recites some bizarre poem, functioning as a spell. The laws of reality contort and a young mage lands in the room.

"This is Jeremy" she says "A young mage with a bit of promise, he was about to be killed in his homeland, so I've brought him here to save him and swap places with him, I hope having a Wizard helps the lot of you a bit."

    She vanishes.

"Greeting Jeremy. I am Iuric Mercutius, Paladin of Mesharum, the Final Arbiter" Iuric says with a hint of pride in his voice.

Vrakrash leans against a wall and tips his fingers in a salute to Jeremy.

'Hello, new friend...foe? I'm gonna say friend for now.'

OOC: just as a general thing Iuric looks human apart from the faint glow, blonde hair, wears polished armour, has a massive sword on his back, and a smaller but still large sword on his belt.

Vrakrash follows Iuric, but at a distance given the dwarves seemingly dislike of his kind.

They arrive in the room with scholarly dwarf, now buried deep in some huge tome on rare Cantrips from long past ages.

"Uhm hello" he says without looking up from the book.

"Greetings, scholar Dwarf. I am iuric Merctius, Paladin of Mesharum, the Final Arbiter. Are you a prisoner here?" Iuric announces.

Vrakrash hangs back outside the room, weapons drawn in case of any trouble.

"Certainly not! That Master fellow couldn't hold me if he tried!

Mesharum? So that faith of his still survives in this era, I would have thought it too demanding for humans of this age, do you still seek to bring order and all that?"
