I just got my phone today and ordered it thursday. I'm liking it so far compared to my Galaxy S2 it replaced. Someone was ringing me and i cancelled it by swiping up as i'm used to answering by doing that instead of down. :o
You can change this in settings..

Yes, you can configure quite a few buttons so it's handy alright.

No Sciprio i dont think it is because i was able to put one over the phone,

Can somebody here Clarify if the oneplus6 comes with a Screen protector already on it over the original screen ?

It's a light screen protector that comes with it. Have mine over a month now and the corner of it is starting to lift already. I'll most likely be buying the proper 3d tempered glass screen protector from them soon.

Mine did, for what it's worth. Have the tempered glass one ready to apply when this one gets tatty though, and it is starting to peel ever so slightly around the notch at the moment.

They all come with a screen protector pre-applied. It's not a great one but better than nothing.

The poster above either peeled it off thinking it was like the plastic film your sometimes get on new electronics or applied his tempered glass one on top of it.

Hi all, I hope someone here can help. I currently in Lanzarote and my one plus 6 can't connect to local providers. I'm unable to make or receive calls. I'm with Virgin. Mobile. When I scan for providers all are marked as forbidden.

    Vinnie.

    Edit:. All sorted.

I just got my one today and it does indeed have a thin screen protector applied and a bumper type case in the box. The screen protector seems very fingerprinty though, will be replacing with a glass one asap.

Any recommendations for a screen protector from Amazon?? Looking at these
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/ORZLY%C2%AE-Protectors-Coverage-Protector-Compatible/dp/B07D4NZXP5/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1530987526&sr=8-6&keywords=oneplus+6+screen+protector

Not really happy with the official one after its cracked so easily..although happy it wasnt the actual screen.

I recommend this brand. Have one on my 6 since I got my 6 nice fit. No lifting when used with a case

Just upgraded to the OnePlus6, not much different to my old OP3T, but I note the camera quality is better (on rear camera anyway), the availability of a tempered glass screen protector is a massive plus, the phone is very fast and fluid and face unlock is alot more convenient than I expected, but I'm not a particular fan of the location of the fingerprint scanner. The battery is good, but no more impressive than when I received my OP3T, it charges faster alright but the actual battery life is no better.

How do you find the sound from the jack and speaker compared to the 3T?

Don't know how that guy managed to crack the protector like that never happened to me. It is comparable with most cases as he shows I use gestures but because I have my phone in a case it doesn't really affect it.
I've used Nillkin screen protectors on all my previous iphones. This was harder to align and I had reapply a few times but it didn't crack. Anyway that's just my experience with the brand. There is another one on the Amazon site with a black Horder around it that might be easier to apply it's also .33mm thick versus this .2mm one.

I got this Spigen Rugged Armour case shipped from Amazon but had to use parcel motel to receive it as they won't ship it directly to ROI.
It's a nicely designed grippy case with a raised lip to protect the screen.

No particular difference noticeable to me to be honest, although I cannot compare as my 3T is smashed to bits.

Someone mentioned earlier about being able to change the call answer gesture from swipe down to swipe up... I've always had swipe up and I've hung up on about 5 calls this week! Can't seem to find it in settings, anyone know where it is?

Go into dialler, three dots in the top right, settings, and there's an option there for "Swipe up to answer". Should see you right!

got my Bullets Wireless today opened it and pretty satisfied.

1 thing that bugs me is the USB type C cable included (short one) isn't dash charge compatible meaning it is just a plain old type C cable. Looks like i still have to bring the long type C cable included with the Phone to be able to use Dash charge on both the phone and bullets wireless

That's fairly odd alright...! Looks like a dash compatible cable. I assume you went with priority shipping?
