Rob Murphy a good host and Billy Joe Padden always informative but surely those Mayo news podcasts needs to phase out John Gunnigan who is a nobody with a high opinion of himself and who uses that platform to advertise his own GAA blog.

I agree I think he adds very little to the podcast.

Is he the guy who runs that site and moderates all the comments? He had a quite selfish and narrow minded opinion on the Ground switch controversy that didn't seem to go down too well there. Dont see any ads on the site overall so might be just a hobby

I don't mind him on the podcast tbh.

The blog isn't my cup of tea but in fairness to him, it's his site, so he's entitled to call the shots on it how he sees fit.

Yeah that's him. It's just a hobby but one that must eat up a lot of time.

That's him. Sees himself as some super supporter, the voice of Mayo GAA supporters if you will but he comes across very arrogant.

Kildare should have most of those parking spaces seeing as they are playing at home!

Probably should get an unopposed run on goal too from the throw in, seeing as they are playing at home.

I know that team won’t start but when ya see Coen and Diarmuid named midfield it brings home the massive losses of Seamie and parsons

i hope ye get clare too .... and beat clare by another 22 points just like last week and be rewarded with a trip to to the athletic grounds in armagh in round 3 where you will be welcomed with open arms just like tyrone's u20s last night :pac:

if ever a post came back to bite his creator in the bollix this did

i personally think its a joke that so man mayo supporters should miss out on tomorrows game , the gaa need to introduce the same criteria for football counties as hurling counties , waterford lost out this year despite holding nearly 10000 more then newbridge while clare just about made the cut ,

needs to be a level playing field in both codes 15000 capacity should be the minimum required for next year across the board

To be fair kildare got the home draw and they were well justified to push for it.mayo should do the same if in the same situation.an all Ireland final will hold 80k average but you would sell double that for a final if the stadium would hold them.

Both big losses but a midfield of Keegan & DOC brings more mobility which is what modern game is about. Better kick passers and will ensure better quality ball into full forward line.

Both Keegan and doc won't be midfield
It will be one or the other and I think it will be Diarmuid
Either way it limits options elsewhere
And in the super 8s that will be felt hard should mayo make it

Do we think Vaughan might be an option at midfield if we make the last eight and are looking for someone with physical presence?

    Absolutely
But he needs to get fit
Again he would also be an option elsewhere /full back but I like him around the middle third

We need to win tomorrow obviously but badly need no more injuries or suspensions

He's like a GAA Fellaini, can play anywhere down the spine.:P Plus he isn't a regular starter but you wouldn't want to lose him from the squad...

He is very very underrated imo and really comes alive in croker
Losing him for different reasons over the past 2 finals cost us so badly
