Could the GAA be liable for refund there seeing as you made your plans based on theirs?

Im sure with ticket sales they have something in the T&C that cover them in the event of date/venue change.

No. That would be ridiculous to be fair.

It clashes with a World Cup game at 7 so you will be doing well - maybe try McGowans in Phibsboro

The Living Room is a sports bar wih loads of screens. It will show the GAA on at least 1 screen. Its thebest pub in Dublin to watch a match (imo)

    Or Cassidy's on Camden Steet?

Or better yet, drive out to Newbridge :)

Anyone get sorted with that link in the last hour, keep trying it to no avail...

That's the obvious choice, lads I work with do it every day in and out to work.

Plus it's likely there's a cancellation policy 24 or 48 hours for any hotels.

The real issue for Mayo would be getting tickets?

Are all season tickets holders getting sorted out. If so it could be 75% Mayo support in attendance. Not much of a home game.

See the Mayo clubs are stating they are getting 20 each out of the 1500 allocation.

So 4.5k Mayo season ticket holders,1500 to the clubs and whoever nabbed them online today. Could be over 6k Mayo support vs 2k Kildare.

    3:1 so
Would have been that ratio in Croker

Depends on the club, senior clubs get more than intermediate and junior clubs getter fewer again.

Exactly can we get back to the football please?

So who marks Daniel Flynn if he's thrown in to the edge of the square?I do not believe Ger Cafferkey is the man to handle his physicality. He is a player capable of causing significant damage but he does blow hot and cold.

Martin Carney commended the management for sticking with Paddy on Michael Quinlavin.

I'm not so sure it simply was a lack of ball and quality of same that turned the tide but it still seems so wasteful to put Paddy Durcan in at full back.

Another forward Paddy Brophy I rate highly has Mayo blood down in Glenhest. He scored the late winning point in the league game at this venue in 2014.Well capable of racking up a few scores from play.

What is the story with Kevin Feely? He didn't start against Longford.Quite a midfield partnership with Tommy Moolick.

It's a hard one to call. Diarmuid and Keegan with Aidan drifting in and out at 11 would be my choice.

Maybe Vaughan or Kirby could be thrown in?

    First option is probable.

Is Donie even available?Still injured I believe,no chance of Danny Kirby starting.

1,500 tickets to be distributed by the respective county boards with the remainder taken up by season ticket holders.

If anyone is looking for tickets I may have two available as I don't know whether I'll be able to make it or not yet. If you send me a PM I'll get back to you if they're available

Flynn is lethal, but he is no Michael Quinlivan. But thats not to say Durcan is the man for the job either. Did durcan shut down Quinlivan the last day or was the ball going into him shut down??

I think Keegan and O'Connor is the best option for midfield, its exciting the mobility and attack that would give us!

Donie is available alright but I don't think he's anywhere fit enough to last 70. Kirby is an option but yeah I'd very surprised if he started.

Absolutely. I like Seamie, as he always gives 100% but Keegan/O'Connor midfield gives us far better options going forward.

Long shot I know, but looking for a ticket if anyone can’t go.

Apparently Kirby has been flying in training / challenges of late but I can't really see him starting myself. Don't think he was even on the panel vs Tipp?

He came on as a sub. For Diarmuid I think. Which reminds me, he went off injured. Was there any update on him this week?

He came on for Diarmuid O Connor at the death.
