Any idea of when Parts.ie will be available again. Recommend a similar website?

What part of the country are you in?

Was home from NZ for a week last week and did a fair bit of driving and cycling around south Dublin. Two thing stood out; how much more space and respect nearly every motorist gives to cyclists compared to a couple of years and (which is great) and the total and utter disregard drivers have for red lights (which is insane). Not just one sneaking through as it jsut goes red but 2-3 cars or setting off while lights still red, rolling over the lines by long distance too. I actually can't believe how rampant it was.

They changed it a while back to keep traffic moving.

It's 'next three cars only' now.

Economical for a 2.5 or just economical. Id love an IS300H next but worried it would cost a bomb to run

That's not bad in fairness. Is that trying or just driving normal?

Saw a post on fb last night some guy has dashcam footage of a biker breaking off a girls mirror with his fist obviously something had occurred beforehand.

Went to look at Mercedes with my Dad today we test drove a 171 C200 Auto avantgarde. It was fairly nippy the auto box was very impressive so smooth couldn’t feel it change gears at all. Engine was reasonably quite and smooth especially for a diesel, interior felt well built. I assumed it was a 2.0 or 2.2 but it’s only a 1.6 that made it even more impressive to me no comparison to the VW/PSA 1.6 but they are 134 bhp I suppose C220 would be better though.

Maybe I was thinking it was better that the old 1.5dci but I have never been anything with the newer 1.6 Renault engine.

The 1.6 diesel in those C-classes is also from Renault. The smaller A class diesels use the 1.5 Reno engine.

Its a very old picture. I don't think I'd get much of a response.

I sent them a video of a speed van parked across 2 disabled parking spots before and I just got the run around.

They can be fond of turbos, well they are in the Renaults anyway

It seems they did. The current one can’t really soldier on much longer here.

They've actually made the latest offerings a good bit nicer with some good extras and nice finish. It's a pity the earlier ones looked cheap and sparten

My Aunty has had 4 of them over the last few years. I always had a soft spot for them especially the newer ones in highline spec with a few extras you could do a lot worse.

They stopped making the current one months back, anything sold now is just old dealer stock.

Ah yes very nice inside feels well put together. Although he wants an E220 coupe as that’s a bit more mid life crisisy than the C200 :pac: although he may be getting a bit old for a mid life crisis car not sure if there is an age cut off.

You can only have one mid life crisis :)

Which one is it, C or E? Choose wisely :)

My hope is that they start to depreciate like a stone like every one that has gone before. Mind you that 5 speed box is probably rubbish for motorway driving
