Kadi and Harrison , brother and sister.

Found their names from a post from their full time mummy about an attempt to abduct one of them off a Dublin bus recently.

Jordan, Jayden and kayden..... Nothing as pure skanger sounding.

It's the common name in North inner city these days, usually accompanied by a Hugo boss or North face tracksuit and a ratty sounding woman roaring 'kayyyyyyyyyden come hayor wił ye'

'Common' being the operative word :pac:

That used to be my mother's worst form of insult. "So-and-so is very common"

Fingal County Council are certainly not competent to be making decisions about the most important piece of infrastructure on the island. They need to stick to badly designed cycle lanes and deciding on whether Mrs Murphy can have her kitchen extension.

I mind kids sometimes for a bit of extra money and to get out of the house (I work from home). Usually just picking them up from the bus stop, taking them home, making them a snack kind of thing. I was recommended to a new family who have just moved to the area and I went to meet them last week. They introduced me to the seven-year-old girl I'll be minding....Enus. No word of a lie.

My ex was friends with a chick called Mercury. Whether that is her birth name or not is beyond me.

Corey. I think we can add that to the list along with Kayden, Jayden, Riley, Chelsea, Lexie etc.

It's the spellings that get me.

I know a Maddieson. Oh and my favourite - Onner.

It;s (I think) meant to be Honor, like Honor Blackman but you know.... (thick!)

An old neighbour uploaded a pic of her baby this morning, who can't be more than a few weeks old.

    The caption?
    "My gorgeous lil sexy Lexie"
    :(:(:(

Why do people refer to babies and children as "sexy"? I don't care if it rhymes. Its weird

A good friend of mine showed his daughter's new shirt bought by an aunt.

"Porn Star in Training!" She is 9.

It got "accidentally" damaged in the wash. Before it was ever worn.

She wants to be the "cool aunt".

She's referred to "drinkiepoos with the girlies" before now.

    Oh and "hollibobs".

I think you get the picture!!

I have heard of a girl called Annette Curtain. Did her parents not put the two names together and realise this would be ridiculous?

Unless maybe they were from a part of the country where you drop the 't' at the end of a word, and it sounded like 'Ann-eh'.

I heard of David Bowie calling his son Zowie Bowie but I was just reading something about T-Rex and Marc Bolan called his son Rolan, Rolan Bolan. It's a terrible name but I actually love it :)

No issue with the name but I know of a Cox family who named their son Ethan.
