    I really don't think so.

I've a PS4, One X and Switch and at the moment Switch is by far the most useful and getting the most play time.

Yes it's lacking in some areas but in time they will be improved upon.

Your argument is compelling and insightful.

I tend to agree in a way

However, as a working parent (who had to travel for work (no more after this week!) the Switch has been a godsend

Commute to work - get a game in
Plane journey - get a game in
Watching baby sleep/sling - get a game in

I'm studying and working at the minute. The Switch is so handy to grab 30 minutes of playtime on the sofa when I have a few minutes to spare. If I didn't have it I wouldn't go upstairs to turn on my PS4 or Xbox.

I have changed a colostomy bag, in my professional capacity, it is far too fraught with danger for a ill-placed Switch... so I might strike that from the list...

Changing a colostomy bag and dropping the kids off at the pool? Does the expression "same ****, different asshole" apply here? :p

It must be bad if you rank it harder than moderating us. :pac:

    You literally have no idea....
One is managing the most foul and fetid matter imaginable.
    The other is a colostomy.

    Looks fine.

I still haven't got an SD card yet, but I only have one digital game and a demo.

Got a switch today. And Mario Odyssey. Looking forward to playing but won't be till I've completed God of War.

Odyssey is such a good game and tonnes of content. But it's a bit annoying that the game finishes and it's your choice to go back and complete the rest.

I finished the game and was shocked as i knew there was more levels and I thought you fight Bowser a second time but no the credits rolled. I was a bit annoyed as I only go back to play the game the odd time now as I have other games to play and if the game wasn't finished I would have gone over each of the last levels fully as when I was playing the game I never left a level until I got the max amount of power moons available.

But one thing if you did not have any other games to play it is well worth the money considering the amount of content available as a tonne more power moons come available on each level after finishing the game.

Nice one, am looking forward to it. I got €10 voucher from Argos so thinking of picking up Zelda today as well. Should be my gaming needs sorted for a while. I'll probably use it in handheld more so than docked.

Just saw an ad for that Labo yoke on the telly.

As a lifelong Nintendo fan, I hate to admit I see no appeal at all in it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,675 ✭✭✭✭TitianGerm

Has anyone picked up the new dbrand skins for Switch?

I'm quite tempted to get a dock one and go yellow accent and black carbon for the front.

They look cool. If they get good reviews I'll probably invest in some Mayo colours ðŸ˜

Yea I like the look. If I had grey Joy Cons I'd probably get skins for those.

I can see why some people will think that; all I can say is "it's not made with you in mind".

To be honest, I doubt I'd even give Labo a second thought... however I know a 3½ year old who would (or will, once I take the vise-grips off my wallet) absolutely love it.

Even leaving that aside, I'm glad they made it. Labo shows that Nintendo are not afraid to think outside the (cardboard) box and just release something incredibly innovative. So while you've got Sony and MicroSoft playing the "my 4K dick is bigger than yours" game, Nintendo are just doing crazy sh1t like this. No matter your opinions on Labo, you gotta love the thinking behind it.

Labo remains in the boot of the car, honestly I couldn't make the time over the weekend to put it together!
But I'm not sure how much use I will get from it, being 46 years old, and my son is near 15 and he is waiting for Dark Souls Remastered at the moment.
So, I reckon I'll put them together, but if I'm having problems finding time and motivation to play the PSVR I am unsure that the Labo is going to get much time either.
By the same token, I can see a large demo of people with young families having a ball with it.
