Ah crap I'm back to limited transfers again.

Team just reverted back after its Free Hit, might even bank it for GW37, and operation get rid of Rashford.

Holebas to a Spurs defender...Toby maybe.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,254 ✭✭✭✭km79

    Vvd to spurs defender
    Probably salah to son
    And one other move possibly
Or I may just wait till 37 for it

I wouldn’t be selling Liverpool players. After that sh1tshow today, they will have to go fairly strong next week.

They might go strong but their mind will be in Europe as it was today
I captained Salah out of fear today
For the last 3 weeks I'm going for it

If stoke manage to get a win this weekend they will most certainly have more to play for
Selling VVD at this stage is a no brainer anyway
    That's absolutely happening

Klopp was furious after the game. I don’t see them worrying about Europe next Saturday by the time he’s finished with them!

I picked a WC around being able to bench Salah next week. He is 100% playing now, Liverpool can’t afford any more screw ups.

As long as the pitch is watered it should not be a problem .
Oh and he doesnt play klavan. As soon as I seen himself and Moreno starting I was hoping for VVd attacking points

He is defo getting the Kyle walker treatment

I'd forgotten what my regular team looked like following the FH. Decent fixtures all round so could bank, or try get some City coverage.

Always planned to bank here, but I'll have to reassess after these games. Might need City coverage and might need to get rid of Mahrez.

I want to BB next week so hopefully no injuries and news that salah starts and then I'll do Bauer to a Burnley def.

I'm getting rid of my 3 spurs. V poor the last 3 or 4 games. Players look knackered, as they have done at the tail end of the last 2 seasons. Watford at Wembley next Monday night is the only thing holding me back at the moment.

I’m havinb second thoughts about salah to any of them now too
In fact I’m having second thoughts about taking 16/20 pts worth of hits for B.B. 37 at all now
Not sure it will pay it back
    Lot of thinking to do

Rom & Mahrez out for Eriksen & Kane. Hope I still have the funds

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,421 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

I had planned to bank, but now I'm going to make a couple of moves to cash in on possible rises/fallers and get some dgw's in that I intend to play

    So Ake comes out
    Mawson comes in.

Goal threat and deliberately missed a chance today, hopefully to save himself for the upcoming double ;)

I should use my FT on Lacazette to Kane, but Kane looks like a pubs league player at the moment.

I’ll hold off till later in the week and see if there is any updates - I’m convinced he’s injured still.

He has been poor alright. His one saving grace is that they play Watford Monday night, so there's time for him to rest up, if needs be

Was considering selling Salah to enable Kane but Mo will probably start v Stoke now that Liverpool still need points to secure top 4?

    Fear

And he is one of the few guaranteed starters of the forward big hitters

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,293 ✭✭✭✭Mint Sauce

Bank it, and keep Salah but have no City. Or take a hit, and have two City but no Salah.

Already have my three Spurs players.

It's pure fear. Nothing he has done recently warrants it - one goal in his last 4 PL starts, 1 double digit score since GW20 and a terrible performance in the cup SF.

However, he has been earmarked by many as the standout TC option in GW37. For someone like me, who has a small lead in my ML, it would be a purely defensive move.

If this was GW26 rather than 36, I wouldn't touch Kane at the moment.

I think Salah starts, and if he does I want him at home to Stoke.

Unless you plan to brink in Sane, there isn't a guarantee your new City player will start.

3 home games in 4 over 3 gameweeks

And the away game is West Brom.

Kane doesn't look right but 9 days between the FA Cup and Watford match. Also, Chelsea could be two points behind Spurs come Monday.

Yes but Spurs have this mental block when the pressure comes on to fold. They were flying at the end of last year when they had nothing to play for. In title races, FA Cup games, Champions League knockouts they inevitably folded. If Spurs are only 2 points ahead they could very easily get the jitters.

    Mahrez to Sterling atm

    Aubeymang to Kane.

    Absolute no brainer... proven!!

Bank and use FT to bring in Sterling and Jesus for Marhez and Vardy.

Maybe take a -4 to take out De Hea for extra funds. Bring in Leicster keeper

This is a funny situation which perhaps someone has come across before. I played my free hit last week so right now my team looks like this under the points tab:

    449036.png

But if I go to My Team it looks like this:

    449037.png

Note that Eriksen is in the team, not David Silva. Ditto on the Transfers screen:

    449038.png

I haven't made any transfers this week, but as it happens, selling David Silva for Eriksen was exactly what I had intended on doing.

Is this some glitch in the game or something I am missing in the Free Hit and how it works?

I played mine too and on the "My team tab my team was exactly as it was pre FH. Money in bank is same too.
Possible glitch which could rectify itself

Looks to me like you played your FH and only made one transfer of Silva for Eriksen, next weeks team reverses this. Check your transfer history to see what transfers you made and gameweek history to see if you played any chip.

Yep looks like you made the above transfer, plus dubravka for lossl and Perez for mounie as your FH changes

Nope. To make it clearer here's my transfer history:

    449056.png

As you can see I haven't made any transfers this week yet Eriksen is back in my team. But the other transfers have stuck.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,935 ✭✭✭AdpRo

All 3 have reversed like they should on the FH. You got Silva and the other 2 for 1 week only, your team is now back to gw34 as seen in the my team picture and the transfer page.

    Key week this.

Many of those who used FH don't have City in their teams. Or Liverpool. Or Spurs.

Many have multiple Leicester who seem to be on the beach.

    Decisions.

There will be lots of movement.

Thinking of not bothering with Kane and just holding fast with Lacazette & Jesus up front with an eye towards a TC Jesus in GW 37.

If Kane performs this week I'll get him in for the DGW.

    Am I playing with fire?

Depends on your situation and your aim to be honest.

If you are more interested in your ML, then have a look at the teams around you and see how many have Kane.

I have a small lead in mine. No one around me has Kane, or can get him without major surgery, so I am thinking of holding off. He doesn't warrant a place on current form, but outside of Jesus, who else is there for an expensive forward spot? Vardy perhaps?

I badly need some help….my Excel sheet is no good to me right now..

Have been comfortably leading my money league for yonks but a poor couple of weeks for me combined with a rival playing a decent BB and FH have slashed my lead to a mere 25 points.

My own planning was ok-ish but a couple of margin calls went against me, mainly going for Sane over Sterling last week.

The rival has TC left and I have BB……he has Kane and will probably get Jesus in this week I’d say.

    My current front 8 is:

    Kenedy | Salah | Zaha | Sane | Willian

    Jesus | Wood | Aubameyang

Have 4.1M ITB and can afford right now (with 0.2M leftover) to do Willian & Aubameyang out for Sterling & Kane for a hit…..not overly enthused with Kane but not having him could be a disaster if he finds form against Watford.

    Any advice appreciated, cheers cm

I'd say, do it, but wait until Salah plays tonight, in case he'd get injured.

    Good and necessary moves imo
Willian will continue to flatter to deceive as he always does when relatively highly owned
Kane will be highly captained for rest of season

Kane the only one likely to change price soon
    Possibly tonight

Are people holding onto Lukaku? Have him and Kane (+Barnes) but think I'll need Jesus and cant see any other way unless I do Lukaku/Mahrez/Smalling to Jesus/Trippier/King for -8 which I dont think is necessary

    Front 7 is currently:

    Sterling, Zaha, Salah, Kennedy

    Lukaku, Jesus, Kane

Think ill be keeping it more or less as is for the final three weeks (although i wouldn't mind getting Ramsey in)

Parted ways with Salah and Vardy for Sane (who should start after the weekends rest) and Jesus.

Bit of a gamble to let Salah go but think the Sane and Jesus with combo will outscore him and Vardy who I expect will return damn all.

    Any thoughts on Yaya?

6.0 million and probably going to get a fair bit of game time over the last three games
