Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Racing 92:
    Dupichot; Thomas, Vakatawa, Chavancy, Andreu; Lambie, Machenaud;
Ben Arous, Chat, Gomes Sa, Ryan, Nakarawa, Lauret, Le Roux, Nyanga

Replacements: Szarzewski, Kakovin, Afatia, Claassen, Chouzenoux, Iribaren, Carter, Rokocoko

    Munster:
    Conway; Earls, Arnold, Scannell, Wootton; Keatley, Murray;
Kilcoyne, Scannell, Archer, Kleyn, Holland, O'Mahony (capt), O'Donoghue, Stander

Replacements: R Marshall, J Cronin, J Ryan, Grobler, Copeland, Hart, Hanrahan, Zebo

Munster aim to reach their first European final since their victory against Toulouse in 2008. Racing 92 look to claim their first European title, their best achievement having been losing finalists in 2016. We return to the scene of one of their greatest European matches ever: Clermont vs Leinster in 2012. Let's hope for a similar classic with an Irish victory!

Munster by 3 for me. Racing on their day are super but those days aren't as consistent as they would like. Could see it following the Toulon game where munster hang in and begin to grind them down

I'm not really sure Munster did grind Toulon down tbh. They scored two of the most non-reproducible tries you'll see in the competition. Both very well taken obviously but both a little bit freakish.

Having said that I think they'll win today. The team has something about it at the moment, lot of doggedness, the injuries haven't halted them at all, Murray is just so good that he can elevate the team a bit by himself too. I think we get carried away rating our own players but he must be in the conversation for best player in the world at the current moment.

Yeah probably right. Was more relating it to clinging in when they could have been out of sight early on. Doggedness is the right word for it

Hoping it doesnt come to this, but how long generally before the games are on YouTube?

Edit: Nevermind, got eirsport working ok.

Just thinking back to the away match at the U Arena and how it was really imo, one that got away from Munster. If Munster can eliminate the errors that held them back in that match, I think they can win this.

The French directors are ruining things with their replays.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,188 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Munster are losing the collisions

Racing try came from the speed of ball they're getting.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

    Way too easy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Awful start. Racing look physically superior.

Easy missed tackle from Wooton, going high on Tomas.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,871 ✭✭✭budhabob

Very poor by wooton, racing have had the far better start

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,188 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Keatley you bottler

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

    Jesus, Keatley

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Keatley. That is unforgivable after a great win from CJ.

Absolutely no need to keatley to try and stick it to the corner flag.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,188 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

I think a try was in for Munster if Arnold had used his head. There were 3 or 4 Munster men on the blindside but he ran back into open field away from the overlap.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Someone needs to throw a bottle of cold water over keatley to calm his hot head down.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,188 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Take Keatley off now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

    Keatley, what are you at?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,296 ✭✭✭coco0981

Really lacking composure at the moment

Jesus if I was Keatley I would walk off and head to Ulster.....

Maybe try support the team and not complain

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,721 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

What the f*ck is going on, lacking serious leadership and control here. They just need to calm down.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,790 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

Poor leadership from Munster so far

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

    Shocking decision making there

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,458 ✭✭✭kuang1

God this is hard to watch.
Looked to me like Holland wanted Keatley to go for 3 with that last penalty but Keatley wasn't having it.

Strange decision there to go for the drop goal, were pretty close to the line.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

    This is embarassing panic stations.

I've never seen a Munster side seem so off in a big game like this.

Munster need to calm down. They're running round like headless chickens - not the best on suc a hot day - conserve the energy.

  • Registered Users Posts: 265 ✭✭Will23

Jp Doyle would want to start refereeing the hands in the ruck...!

  • Registered Users Posts: 392 ✭✭Sephiral

JP Doyle definitely favouring Munster here. Decision making is all over the shop.

Would love Murray to take over the kicking duties.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Good kick.....hopefully that will settle everyone down.
