Irish and British women are not very attracive so the clothes are designed to catch the male eye and they look trashy.
European women are better looking so will attract the male eye based on attractiveness alone.
Irish women are now the fattest in the world and are also short and dumpy. There is a correlation between overweight women and porn clothes, the heavier the woman the shorter the skirt and these womens outfits would hurt your eyes, hence messages to pals, do I look good, no you look like a slut.
Some women actually take being called a slut as a compliment, thats how skewed things are now.

sure that's the way of it now lads, case closed. :D

I said to my male friend, as long as men think that they are worth more than women
Well at least we know exactly what point all of your arguments start from.

Oh I'm sure you will roll back and talk about "some" men and how you were raped and your mother was raped and everyone you know was raped, in fact everyone I know was raped they just havent told me about it yet.

But the bottom line is that you hate men and all your opinions will be coloured by it unless and until you get some help.

Thankfully now I can just ignore you as a troll.

The comments about women needing to take greater care in how they dress are very concerning. All things are relative -- there was a time
in Western society when a woman showing any bodily skin was considered immoral, and indeed there are societies in our world today where women are expected to cover their entire bodies lest it be seen as immorally enticing. Turning the debate into one which, even if unintentionally, encourages us to wind back the clock on what women should be expected to wear on a night out is simply not the right way to steer this discussion. Wearing a boobtube and a miniskirt is not an act of direct self-endangerment and it is therefore contrary to our values as a progressive society to foist any form of contributory responsibility on a woman wearing such attire in the event that she does indeed become a victim of a sexual assault.

It is perfectly legitimate to encourage women not to put themselves in scenarios of direct potential danger, such as getting in a car with a stranger, and it is always sound advice to be mindful of one's alcohol intake, with particular sensitivity for one's surroundings and journey to wherever they are staying. It's vitally important to note however that, even if a woman does put herself in a position of direct potential danger, we must stop short of equating personal irresponsibility or recklessness with contributory responsibility for any sexual assault which she may be subjected to.

    Appledream.

If you think the Catholic church hate women wait till you see how you get on in Turkey which is a muslim country.
Take a good look at how the local women dress and follow suit. Heading out in your shorts that dont cover your butt cheeks and a crop top will definitely bring all sorts of unwanted male attention on you.
You will be very glad to get back to Ireland and Irishmen.

I said to my male friend, as long as men think that they are worth more than women , sexual assault is going to happen. If they saw them as worth the same as themselves, they would never do it. That's what needs to change, the 'I am worth more than you' attitude.

That is in particular, the first thing we need to change in Ireland. The Catholic Church nearly normalised abuse of women by men.

Question it! Who were the Catholic Church - they were abusers.

Your male friend is a twat and you should reevaluate that friendship.

Also who the hell bothers with airy fairy religion anymore. For 35s and unders its almost extinct so them views are definitely not the norm.

    Whose is saying that???

It matters afterwards who is responsible, and to a degree it is moot because she has been raped or has had a bad experience.

When it was entirely possible to avoid it.

That's an interesting angle. I don't agree with you AT ALL but let's follow your logic.

If men are raised thinking they are better than women then they will treat women badly.

I don't think the Catholic Church is to blame though. After all, not everyone in Ireland is a Catholic.

    So the question is...

Who is raising these men? Their mothers?

Are Irish mothers to blame for raising all the rapey Irish men?

You dont see men or women falling around drunk in public in other countries.
You dont see teen discos with thirteen year olds barely dressed and a peculiar orange colour. They have four inches of lurid make up on with beetle eyebrows and false eyelashes.
Where are the adults in their lives, is this what young girls think life is about.

The jury didnt believe PJ raped anyone so the version of lost handbags and immobilising people on beds got no credence.
All four men were acquitted of all charged.

It is a pretty simple point. Mind yourself. Do not increase your odds.
Do not get blind drink and go to the home of strange men alone?

I think in a lot of cases many parents don't realise what their young ones dress up in. What they leave the house in is often very different to the way the appear when they arrive at the pub/club.

It most definitely is not that simple . The vast majority of rape victims knew their attacker . Try to know facts before pontificating

No, but I'd suggest that rapists often rape women who are blind drunk.

Just like pick-pockets steal from people who have valuables on display.

Don't get caught up in "causation" when reality can often answer your question.

How do you feel about that? Seems like good advice no? Do you think we should just replace those signs with other ones saying : don't rob people's stuff?

There should be mandatory classes for men to attend telling them not to steal. Also there should be some kind of punishment if they do. I dunno like some big house where the can be removed from society as a deterrent. That will then lead to the end of stealing.

You're wrong I have been to 15 different countries and I can tell you I have seen people falling around drunk and quite abusive aswell. Worst experience was Vienna, had to shout for help from the Police.

Here's the link to Sober Paddy
    http://soberpaddy.com/how-not-to-be-a-rapist/

    Jesus, what absolute muck........................
    Here are my credentials

I have gotten through forty-one years of my life without raping anyone.

Brilliant. Well, I've never been falsely accused of theft so I'll just run off and start a blog on the best way to not get accused of shoplifting shall I.
First rule: Don't shoplift! I'll help so many people.
I am going to share my three top tips for not raping. This is foolproof.

    1. Don’t Rape
What?? Seems obvious right? But let me tell you, this is the fundamental starting point for us men. It is the cement that holds all the blocks together. Do

    3. Do not rape. No rape.

This might seem the same as the first. In fact, now that I see it written down, it is exactly the same. You see, in my experience, I have found that not raping is the only way to not rape. I cannot think of any other way of not raping.

Oh, how clever. If only someone had thought of being so smug and self righteous on this issue before. Oh wait, that patronizing meaningless ****e is only fcuking years old.
If you are the one with the lump of swizzily mushroom shaped cheese hanging between your legs, you are the man.

And some on the thread have said they wanted their sons to read this?? Really? Well, I suppose if someone wanted their son to be ashamed of their own gender, it's the perfect pamphlet.
I have to admit that I did just google this, and I was a little surprised with the result.

Here is why I was surprised reading this – I get the forcibly and threatening side of things, but if someone else is intoxicated and you have sex, then you are raping them. Or at least, you could be raping them. How is their consent legitimate if they are drunk and don’t know better? What if you are drunk and not thinking clearly? Heavy going right?

Wait. So sober paddy was "surprised" to read that some states of intoxication can result in a person being legally incapable of giving consent?? And he has the fcuking gall to write an article on the topic. You couldn't make it up.
Then there is the casual rapist. This is the irresponsible and misogynistic sort who craves their own ego and lusts to be satisfied whatever the cost.... it may be a group of men who cajole each other to further depraved and immoral ways of conducting themselves… more often than not with women. These are the sorts who would not consider themselves to be rapists… but by definition they are.

You could meet a woman, take her home and bang her in the airing cupboard of your mate’s gaf. Top story. Top night. Top shagger.

Oh, I wonder who he's talking about. So cryptic / ambiguous enough to prevent him getting sued. Gutless twat. I might have some respect for him if he came out and said it, but nah, he just insinuates it (but let's face it, this article was about doing little else).
Having the penis means you are the one who rapes. It is not the other way round.

Really? Tell that to this guy.
Any other time that you want to have sex with a woman.
GET SOME ****ING CLARITY AND ASK HER.

Does she never need to get clarity? Have women no agency at all with this fool.
    The Male Group Mentality

Mix in a little misogyny and privilege and you have a powerful cocktail brewing
    Oh, how woke.
Women, in general, do not fantasise about getting double ended by two or three meaty men.

Well, I don't see what the fantasies of woman have to with rape exactly, but seeing as he brought it up, many women do indeed fantasize about such things. Seems sober paddy sees women as being quite angelic. But again, has fcuk all to do with the topic.
They do not, in general, desire to be taken three ways by a bunch of penises. I have never heard a woman indicate this to me in real life. I have never heard a woman say “Ooooh three cheddar tasting, sweaty ballbags and cocks at once? Yes please.” “What, group Bukake with a Football Team? Yes Please!”

And I have had my fair share of encounters with the fairer sex. I have even been involved in 3-way and 4-way action. But never, ever have I had the situation where one woman has been up for some multiple man shenanigans, without another female present. Maybe that is just down to the women I have met. But no-one I have met has shown me or told me differently.

Some very weird comments in the above. I mean, maybe his cock tastes of cheddar but I highly doubt many men's do, and even if they did, has someone suggested women wanted to taste such things? Also, he says he's had group sex (using his non-cheddar tasting penis of course) and that there were always at least two women present and so, in sober paddy's conclusion is: no woman would want to be alone with multiple men.
..... I can tell you, that most women who are into group men action are the kind who will control that environment. They will tell you what they want. They will ask you to invite your friend in.

lol. He's actually trying to speak for all women in the world who are into group sex :P The ego on this guy.
    Unless…

Well, probably unless they are being raped.

Ah, so if some women are said to have been involved in group sex but they aren't exactly like the kind of women that sober paddy has encountered (during his long history of engaging in such antics) then these women can only have been raped. Talk about thinking the world revolves around you and your experiences.
This cannot be something that “just happens” lads. Because let’s be clear – 2/3-on-one sex with a girl does not just happen.

Really? Here's one: story number 3. It's Cosmo, it has to be true!
It is not normal. It is not something that most women would agree to. Remember, women think very differently to men. Remember that lads.

This chap thinks he's some kind of misogynist whisperer.
Nowadays porn has become an uncontrollable beast. It perverts your expectations.

But not women's? Doesn't affect them at all I suppose and not sober paddy's expectations either, what with him being so woke and all.
It is OK to have lots of sex with lots of women.
    Thanks man, appreciate it....
It is OK to do whatever it is you want, once both of you agree to it.

Doh! Damn it to hell, there's always a catch.
    Porn is not real.

You mean all those people in amateur porn are really actors and actresses?? Those bastards fooled me. I was sure recording their antics on crappy phones meant it was legit. You can't trust nobody these days.
Which leads me onto my last tip…

Respect women lads. Respect them and open that manly, considerate heart inside you.

In all my years of riding and women, I never had a situation where a woman left my company crying, bloodied and distraught. It never happened.

So what? Never happened me either, or most men, who gives a shit. How up your own arse do you have to be to think that just because something hasn't happened you, it has to mean something nefarious happened if it happens to other guys.

One wonders if he would see this 'Becky' girl in a negative light....... I bet he wouldn't, what with her being an angelic female and all.

    https://twitter.com/OletaMcfadden/status/531415163485044736

Not that she should be seen negatively of course, but if this guy thinks someone bleeding after sex automatically means that something untoward occurred, then I would have to suspect that he's not been with as many women as he would like us all to believe he was.

Overall this article was really just a shameless attempt at virtue signalling to the flock. There is not a chance he wrote this for those he is pretending to have as nobody would be that delusional to think that the very people they were condescending to, were going to be all ears with regards to what it is that person has to say. He just wanted to let a certain section of our society know just how progressive a guy he is and that he 'gets' women today, what they need, and the issues they face. A middle aged guy who has his finger on the pulse, woke to just how badly society is affected by that dreadful toxic masculinity. Truth is though that he hasn't a notion what he is on about and he addressed fcuk all. He'll get the backslaps he craves though, he'll get them, and sure isn't that the main thing.
