Windchill and some snow showers will cause issues for those with lambs out. Sudden drop in temps from tomorrow afternoon with strong Northeast to Easterly winds meaning windchill will be down to as low as -10c in some areas.

Also snow showers will start to kick in off the Irish Sea Saturday afternoon and become more widespread Saturday night into Sunday morning, Id estimate up to 8cm in areas that catch a train of snow showers.

Very low temps Monday night as high pressure brings clear skies, down to possibly -8c.

Any chance of a plague of frogs or locusts we have had everything else!!
    Thanks for the heads up

The whole country is under a yellow warning for snow/ice until 900 AM Monday. It will be much colder than last time so plenty of frozen pipes.

Snizzle? here near the Wicklow gap for the last hour or more. Quite gusty, not lying yet, but it's sure to do as it gets colder through the day. Just in time to top up what's left of my drifts from storm Emma!

    It’s grand.
Snowed hard for a while then stopped now just occasional bits. Nothing on the ground.

    Cold and blustery though.

Few bits lying in fields here too. My granny always said it’s a sign it’s waiting for more to come, seems to be true this time.

Milk lorry just collecting here now. Usually collects in the morning.
Suppose they're collecting before any snow starts sticking on the roads.

    Showers on and off here.

Snowing from the NE bitter cold too. Snow is staying. Not a great night to be lambing but that's the joys of farming!
