Rang HRM just now and was told the second round offers are to coming out in the next three days. Better get the candles lit lads.

Dose that mean 100 boys and girls got offers yesterday and another 100 will get offered in a few days?
Any people get offered from the June 2017 competition?

Just said that more offers will be out in the next few days. It's always very hard to get information from them so surprised I was even given that much.

Sept 2016 oom of 500s, everything complete since last July. Vetting still not complete. Is there anyone else in the same boat who hasn’t delayed anything but is still left waiting?

Me. I'm from September 2016 oom mid 700s.

I've asked that question too about any one from June 2017 getting an offer. Doesn't look like it as no response at all.

Nóirín O'Sullivan must have left with my application in her briefcase or something. Waiting since circa Jan 2016. (It's actually that long now I am starting to forget the date I applied).

I cut my losses with regards it in Jan. Decided to just leave it there, anyway two months on and still nothing, ideally it would be nice to get answer for some recognition that I made an effort in the process.

Even though I have moved on (not without thought to it) I still get a bit bitter when I hear users on here from Sept etc.. getting in, in fact it's not even the getting in, it's the getting an answer that annoys me.

That's awful! Presume you've been on to hr? What have they said. Have you contacted them recently. Maybe you should.

Was last in touch Jan. After that conversation it was just blurb that they are told to say. Pointless, contacting them getting the same answer again and again. (The unofficial definition of insanity 'Doing the same thing over and over'.)

To me, this process, is either A B or C.

    A. Very quick, application processed fast and little waiting no stress.
    B. Normal pace, application processed and started within 9 months, little stress.
    C. Extremely slow, application processed at frustrating pace, timeline seems endless and extremely frustrating, very stressful. Endless.

And to me, it seems if you get A B or C is completely down to luck.

I have been waiting since Jan 2016 I felt like I was the only one left and still no offers I'm on to hr almost every week but they say I'm still waiting on vetting it's very disheartening

I'm from September 2016 and anyone that got a reply email along the lines of suitability to become a garda Trainee, I rang hrm this morning to ask about it and basically from what I took away from it is our vetting is done and it's awaiting the final check after that we get our offers. It could just be a case of when they get around to us but at this stage I've no idea. Here's hoping for August. I should also point out I got an absolute sound dude on the phone so I got lucky with the call.

I've heard of it happening man. A lad was waiting about a year and a half after his fitness and got rejected. It was in an older thread.

You reckon we're still in with an outside shot for the next few days?

Defo happens, I am expecting it with mine to be honest. Me and the super didn't hit it off, so to put it.

The saying a case of no news is good news, doesn't work, no news means no news as that how slow the wheels turn.

I'd say, some trickles will come out from today till Friday, after that, you might as well call it a day till the next one.

I see on another thread they are short supposedly for April intake by large number.

What if the quota can’t be filled?

Take anything you hear with a pinch of salt. I'd say they have the numbers, they are under no obligation to go with April intake, they could delay if they needed to get the numbers, fact that they have gone ahead, to me says they have the numbers need to go ahead with intake.
