    Well done Paul Casey.

Reed with a very make-able eagle putt coming up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,472 ✭✭✭stockdam

Reed and Casey tied. Reed is probably just about favourite but it could go any of three ways. Maybe a playoff.

I think Woods three putting the par 5 means he is too far back.......maybe not though.

That missed birdie putt on par 5 14th I think has all but cost any chance of getting to a playoff.

He just didn't get anything going today.

Fair play to Casey with that score though

Well the broadcaster will push him as high up the leaderboard as they can. The time honoured system is that players (on the same score) who have played most holes are ranked highest but it seems different protocols apply when its Tiger.

    Its all about ratings folks.

    What a putt.

    Holy ****

Had to chip that first time. Much easier chip than putt

    who?

He went walk about on that one weather he thought the defensive line should have been moving out or what but he vacated the middle for whatever reason

    Woods

Reed blows in on 18. His putt came right back to where it started.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,472 ✭✭✭stockdam

So it's only Woods now who can tie.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,868 ✭✭✭✭fullstop

If Tiger holes that there'll be a riot

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,472 ✭✭✭stockdam

Woods is way back. 185 yards uphill into wind. He has to make birdie (or eagle).

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,378 ✭✭✭HighLine

Tiger left himself way too far back there on 18. Shame.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,764 ✭✭✭Thepoet85

Have to wonder why he played a two iron off the tee if it was going to leave him so far back.

Looking good for Casey as Woods has a long putt for birdie........I don't think this putt will be short.

Enjoyed the tournament all week and I was rooting for Tiger but really happy for Casey, well deserved.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,472 ✭✭✭stockdam

Not up so it looks like Paul Casey wins. Woods did his very best and one shot behind is excellent.
Well done Casey...........he has a lot of talent and hasn't won enough.

That might as well have been a major. Watch every week tbh but Tiger spikes interest like no other - even Harrington doesn’t give me as much of a buzz
