Allowed carry it onto the course on official tournament days? Seems a bit odd.

What a final round by Rory. Pushed all the way by DeChambeau.

    Brilliant by Rors

DeChanbeau did everything he could to win but he just came up against a Rory who wasn't going to let up. One of the best final rounds to watch.

This years masters is setting up to be incredible. We could be in for one of the majors ever. So many top players in form and the return of Tiger.

Funny stuff. He's right too. Certain golfers get "fairer" rulings than others

Maybe certain golfers just know the rules better and only ask for rulings when they know they've a fair chance of getting one in their favour?

Anyone follow Eddie Pepperell on twitter? Definitely one of the more entertaining golfers to follow on twitter as he does not give a sh*t who he offends or what he says. Today's tweet might get some backlash though...

    Anyone watching the match play?

Great field and format, round Robin matches Wednesday - Thursday - Friday, last 16 and quarters Saturday, semi and finals on Sunday.

    Should be a good watch.

I preferred when it was straight knockout from the start myself.

Still usually a good watch though, love matchplay.

Remember the Day-Dubuisson final? Great stuff

Agreed, prefer a straight knock out as you can end up with a couple of dead rubber matches at the end of the group stages

You won't see many better matches than Kuchar and Zach Johnson. Some come back from Johnson. Can he win the last for an amazing half

Bubba v Leishmann on the driveable par 4 over water. Infuriating into hilarity. Bubba straight into crowd, no shout (need to penalise this). Easy chip to green but puts it in the water, gets his 5.

Leishmann laid up, then missed green, then flubbed a chip, then hit a woeful put nearly into the water.

    It gives me hope tbh

Mad really. Last year he won the tournament and was never behind in any match at any time!

That match play must be massive high variance in termsof results you'd imagine, although Dusty shot something close to plus 9 yesterday so looks a little rusty.

Weisberger beat him shooting plus 2 yesterday and Mizatoro -4 lost to Matsuyama yesterday who shot -7

It really is a completely different animal and a great change for the normal stroke play even with the groups

Bubba being handed the match here.

Surely has to be there or there abouts at Augusta.

Hope not. Twice on the same hole he's blown a driver deliberaty into the crowd to stop the ball. First time he messed his chip into the water, this time he somehow managed to hit it into the grandstand. While he had little chance at shouting for the last one, the drives are a terrible way to get an advantage. I know he didn't shout fore at least once.

Although I'd probably hate all golfers basing it on that too.
