Paddy power have Apples Jade Laurina and Un De Sceaux treble today at 15/1, great bet at that price.

Like this alright, would have considered all three as strong favourites, Apples Jade is the preverbial penalty kick, Laurina has been impressive and would appear to have only one viable opponent who has had an interrupted prep and Un De Sceaux looks miles ahead of the opposition and the prospect of slower than normal festival ground will be music to his supporters ears, I have had the max bet on this one.

It's a cracking bet and strangely enough they claim they enhanced it from 10-1 to 15/1 but it only works out 7.14/1 if you backed the treble so your getting over double the price.

And while I didn't fear VVM for Apples Jade another defection helps.

Yeah was surely a mistake as they've changed it to a different special now.

B365 are 11/2 for that double with Monalee without any enhancement, havent checked anyother sites and oddschecker is gone to the dogs, but I would be suprised if you couldnt gets 6/1 somewhere.

Took prices on Skybet during the week for the following

    Mengli Khan Supreme 12
    Next Destination Ballymore 4
    Al Boum photo JLT 8
We have a Dream Triumph 8.

I think it's worth taking prices now on horses you fancy in the novice hurdles and chases before declarations.

    Henderson says he'll skip Cheltenham

Just rewatched MTOY win @Cheltenham in December and the one to take out of the race is Melon. He pulled the arms out of Mullins for 2 miles mayeb he will settle better in a strongly run race like the champion plus he was giving MTOY 6 lbs. Does he see the trip out well enough is the big question.

He could be my small e/w or w/o BD play.
Would love to see him drift a few points though.

Melon is a pig. Take the fav out of it and I still wouldn’t fancy him.

Agree, if you fancy melon over faugheen at their prices you are mad . Faugheeen without Buvair dair is 15/8 which is serious value in my eyes

Couldnt beat Supasundae who swerves the Champion in favour of the Stayers Hurdle says it all. Although in saying that its an appalling race, Bauvair Dair wouldnt get near the Faugheen of 2 or 3 years ago, Apples Jade should be lining up and with the 7lbs mares allowance beats BD imo.

Agree on Melon, couldn't have him at all. Mick Jazz at double the price is better value. Think he could pick up the pieces late on and get a place.

Cant understand calling him a pig. Is it just the 1 race hes been outside the top 3? If he settles better hes not out of the top 3 in the Champion imo. Watch the international hurdle again he pulled too hard all the way around and was going best jumping the last, whether he has stamina issues or he just used up too much gas pulling like **** is anyones guess.
