Discussting! Imagine having to abandon your car and come back to find it burnt out! Now I know insurance will cover it but I'm sure plenty of important personal belongings in the cars too. Actually lost for words

No, you're making it sound like they don't want to help.

As I said, you're putting your family and home in serious danger.

It's not that they don't want to assist. The risk is too high.

It's easy to say what they should do and shouldn't do from the comfort of leafy suburbia tapping away on an a mac.

It's a different story when the person knows even if they do give information the person will most likely get a suspended sentence and will be back in the area and now _YOU_ have to deal with it.

The guards can only do so much their hands are tied for the most part.

But I think having a go at the decent people who have to live among the scum is pretty petty and small time.

Just remove all social security nets from the families - no dole, no child support, do a check of their bank accounts, turf them out of their local authority houses if in one and give it to someone more worthy.

Make them live in a caravan on the side of the road if they want to live like feral wasters.

Oh and sterilize them.

To be fair none of this is about crime prevention, it's about vengeance!

Actually solving the social environment that creates these monsters would take more insight, money and effort than anyone in power is willing or able to put in. Even the Nordic counties have these elements in cities and they are supposed to be the world leaders in social equality and harmony.

How much money is enough? The area I live in doesn't have facilities and yet we are not out destroying the locality. Same in my hometown. The area I lived in there didn't have facilities provided either. Yet the areas that have been provided facilities and had all the youth centres, football pitches, basketball courts, clubs, charitable assistance, social workers, youth reach etc......

Was thinking of heading over to Tallaght to have a look what's going on over there. Would that be a good idea or is still dangerous around there at the moment? Obviously won't go during darkness. Live about 20 mins drive from there

I'm extremely skeptical that these people are completely unknown. In my own small estate, there are three different women famous for peering out their windows at night watching what everyone does and gossiping to whoever will listen to them. Doesn't Tallaght have these kinds of people?

Dangerous, em no, unless you are flashing around a nice watch or phone. Expect some looks in the rougher areas.

Any proof to suggest that it would? Other countries have had abortion for decades, so, I'm guessing you'll be able to provide research that shows abortion reduces crime?

Will the insurance definitely cover? Snow is an act of god and abandoning a car due to snow may be technically considered not taking care of it.

Horrific scenes at Lidl. Those involved are putting emergency services personnel and others' lives at risk. This tiny minority obviously don't represent Jobstown. In fact, those involved are likely the same people who have terrorised people in the community for years.
