The luas isn't running past the sandyford stop, which is in the industrial estate.
After that the track goes up hill to sandyford villiage / Stepaside area.

Its properly snowy up here, don't know about the industrial estate.
I'm just around the corner from it, unless they are massively different to us I'd say they have a light enough covering. About an inch, maybe two.

Local radio encouraging people to stay indoors from 3pm tomorrow. Sun has been out all day just outside Gorey in North Wexford and the small dusting of snow we got last night is melting. Calm before the storm quite literally I guess.

Meath/Cavan/Westmeath border has ~10cm on the ground and has seen strong flurries for the last hour.

    Thawing in Greystones..

    1982 ? It's not even close to 2010 here.

Really glad I stayed up late last night to enjoy it.

Hopefully we'll see something more interesting in the next day or 2.
in 2010 there was a decent bit more, however it had all melted by 11pm on sunday, the same day it appeared. Rained whilst in mass then.

keeps trying to snow here, every time there is a heavy burst it only lasts about 20 seconds and then back to light snow grains and sun tries to shine.

Slight thaw on some of the roofs of houses even tho the outside temperature is -3C.

Light snow showers every now and again. Not too bad though. The roads are ok.

Solar energy is a bugger. This will be epic but Id have loved to see it around 10th Jan.

My view to the northeast from Arklow at the moment
Unfortunately it’s heading due west in the east flow
It’s the furthest south I’ve seen the convection though

No thaw here I am right on the coast in dublin 5. Yet to see the sun today, been snowing nearly all day. So much more than I expected given my location by the coast.

The snow has started again. Neighbours were out shovelling snow earlier. Their efforts have since been undone!

Streamers heading for Dublin are dying down now, might give some time for people to clear the already topped up snow.

Well definitely not in my part of Cavan. just a light dusting. Was nice to wake up to though

I went out for a there for a run with leggings, base layer, long sleeve top, 2 pairs of gloves, beanie. Sweating like a pig after a mile. I'd have gotten away with shorts and a long sleeve top. The fresh dry snow is great to run on, loads of grip.

oh ya. I hear it's the perfect texture for running.
