Finished Godless last night. I didn't particularly like the first episode, it was very long and foreboding! But it was necessary to set up the rest of the season. From ep 2 till the end was excellent, and that finale! Dayum!!!

Finished it last week and for my money its the best of the genuine* Netflix originals to date tho I'd differ slightly in that I really enjoyed the first episode's refusal to be rushed and was left a little unsatisfied with the finale. The cinematography and story telling was just top notch tho.

*ie a series commisioned by them, not just bought in after it was made

Can anyone recommend decent TV Show/Comedy type shows on Netflix?

Alot of the drama's quite dark I tried Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was very funny at first but getting very stupid as it goes on...Big Bang Theory been watching its great but kinda been done to death at this stage...

If you like things like BBT then it might not br for you but Lovesick is great.

They should start paying me for promoting that show.

The Good Place is a weekly pleasure if you’re looking for a new comedy show. Manages to pack a surprisingly twisty storyline into the mix as well, with it constantly remixing and complicating its setup. Probably the most good-natured, warm-hearted and yet often delightfully cheeky comedy I’ve seen since Parks & Rec - unsurprisingly, the same creator is involved ;)

Brooklyn 99 is honestly one of the best comedies IMO. I love the good place too, but it's a bit silly. I watch it but my husband hates it. I just started Lovesick on TME's suggestion and I'm really enjoying it. The characters are really easy to like.

Oh a good one was Love Nina. A bit quirky, Helena B Carter is in it, about a nanny and her life with the family. Well worth a watch, not laugh out loud funny by any means but one that really stood out for me.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but Outsiders is brilliant, I've watched 10 episodes so far.

I already mentioned this show two or three times already here but if you grew tired of Unbreakable Kimmy Scdmidt like myself Id recommend Don't trust the bitch in apartment 23 is a great show.

Made me a fan of Kristen Ritter who I liked before but this show really made me a fan of hers, plus James Van Der Beek really can take the mick of himself. The second episode Daddy's Girl is truly cringe but Laugh out loud funny.

Just make sure you pick the series and not the arty movie which might make for uncomfortable viewing with family.

Anyone got any recommendations for a mood booster feel good movie?

    This too shall pass.

Arrested Development.....was massive fan of Series 1-3, only halfway through Series 4.

Agree that its not the best, but I think its the high standards that the previous 3 series set that are the problem. It had a lot to live up to.
