Definitely looks like one of the weaker months for releases (for me anyway), is The Code the BBC drama? Is it any good?

A lot riding on Altered Carbon going by how much they’ve invested in it

I thought Blackadder was already up there.

    Can't wait for Mute!

Just watched the first episode of Outsiders, utterly ludicrous in every way.

Watching arrested development at the moment. Haven't seen it since it was on tv years ago. Seen that they have finished filming series 5 so hopefully that will be out soon

It’s not out for 3 months.

The the way you said it was added seems like it’s there now.

Maybe it's the "been" versus "being"..

Halfway through season 3 of Fargo. Up there with the other 2 so far. Consistently brilliant since episode 1 though a slight lull in season 2 maybe.

I would recommend the film The finest Hours, saw it in the cinema but noticed it has just been added to Netflix. It’s based on a true story about the US coast guards rescue of a stricken oil tanker. Starring Chris Pine and Casey Affleck.

Watched this one tonight. I loved it. Did not know it was a true story until the end

I read all the Altered Carbon books...as audio books actually....they were great so high hopes for the TV Series if you like darkish sci-fi action..

    "rita" - danish with subtitles.

Tbh we probably would not be watching it if my wife were not a teacher - the series is based around a teacher.

Still it is worth watching. I am lawyer so we have seen a hell of a lot more series based on my profession than on hers. Though to balance that it seems this is a vastly more realistic portrayal of what her job is like than the other programmes' portrayal of mine :)

I read one of the Altered Carbon books. Thought it was very good. Real page turner.

Is Netflix down for anyone else? :(

    a futile and simple gesture
In a brief life full of triumph and failure, "National Lampoon" co-founder Doug Kenney built a comedy empire, molding pop culture in the 1970s.

    annie (the remake)
bran stoker's dracula (francis ford coppola )
    dirty money
From crippling payday loans to cars that cheat emissions tests, this investigative series exposes brazen acts of corporate greed and corruption.

Watched Walking Tall last night as its leaving in a couple of days... now not the crappy remake with the Rock but the true original with John Don Baker. Surprised to learn it was actually based on a real guy, an interesting life he lead as well ex wrestler ex marine and goes on to become a sheriff.

Actually a pretty violent movie for its time if you take away the completely unrealistic bar fight scene at the start of the movie which kinda sets up the plot and a true 70s style ending where you don't get a lot of resolve but left satisfied all the same. Great movie.

    You take that back!

I watched that Futile Gesture one and thought it was very good though maybe skirted over some of the issues in Kenney's life and didn't give them the full attention there should have been.
