    Happy new year folks!

We're working on getting a few AMAs up and running soon for 2018. In the meantime, you might want to revisit your Top 5 AMAs of 2017...

    Now Ye're Talking to

An Irish Escort - 224k views
    An ex-prisoner - 80k views
    John Kavanagh - 50k views
Recovered Drug User - 49.5k views
Boardsie climbing to Everest Base Camp - 17.5k views

The "Top 5" was calculated in terms of thread views; in terms of posts/replies the top five were the same threads with John Kavanagh and the Recovered Drug User thread switching places. You can revisit ALL previous AMAs here.

To apply to do an AMA, please fill in this form, PM me or email me - niamh@boards.ie.

To make a suggestion for a new AMA you'd like to see, please post in this thread here and we'll do our best to track down some of the requested people/professions.

Thanks everyone, we're looking forward to some more great AMAs in 2018!

To be fair they were some fascinating ama's..

Personally, my favourite AMA this year was by Danny ODwyer, "Now Ye're Talking - to a video game journalist".

Never heard of him before the AMA but found it so engaging and interesting.. when I mentioned the ama to some friends they often were impressed by the fact that it was Danny.. seems to be a well respected chap.

I've been hooked on his YouTube series since.

Yep, the sex worker was always going to be popular - we're so predictable:o.

In no particular order, I really enjoyed:

    Journey to Everest Base camp
    Professional poker player
    Palliative care nurse

Poker player for me was excellent. Wonder would we have any ex pro soccer players?

I'll add it to the list (if it's not there already!)
