She's a bit of a babe. Best character in it too. She should be the main character I think

Lol, you were just making sure it was OK to think what you were thinking?

What if I told you I was lying and she actually is 15?

    Perv. ;)

I knew she was over 18, was just unsure of her age. It’s not on IMdB

Enjoyed that again. Developing quickly and nicely.

Great to see that Kevin McAleer character released into the wild. Hopefully we will see more of him, maybe he will move in permanently.

The one who plays Erin has very odd facial expressions, anyone else take any notice?

A couple of good jokes, if it wasn't about here I wouldn't even be watching it so I don't know if I could call it a good show yet, a bit like Give My Head Peace, we all watched that but it was all a load of drivel.
I wonder do they break down the ratings by region? literally every house in Northern Ireland could have it switched on which which makes it seem more popular than it really is in GB.

I don't see anything particularly unique to the 90s in it apart from the clothes, I am 25 and can relate to all that school trip stuff, etc, we went to Paris in 2003, I remember one of my classmates was confused when the French waitress set down a plate of wedges, he asked her "Are these wee chippies?", she didn't reply.

Ah here, speak for yourself. We all very much did NOT watch that sh!te.

Second episode. This is getting repetitive quick.

Same tune used for when things go "crazy" (Shipping Out to Boston).

Mentioned earlier (I think), yer one Erin gurning all over the place is getting on my nerves.

No reason for Tommy Tiernan to be in this at all. I'm sure the trailer showed all of his lines in this series.

Only watched pilot but thought it was good, definitely has something about it anyway. The best character is the rather weird cousin with the laconic drawl, played very well. Am in for the long haul on this one I reckon.

Writer said Tiernan comes into more as series goes on.
i kinda like the gurning, I know plenty who do it.

It's very well made, great to see it getting an audience.

The girls and the wee english fella are all very good, but like any good sitcom the supporting cast also make an impact"

Inbetweeners had 18 episodes, this is guaranteed 12 now. Inbetweeners could have kept going for another 2 seasons at least, I can't remember if they went to university or not.

Oh god, I thought the last series of The Inbetweeners was terribly disappointing - as were the movies.

The film in Australia was good, maybe we'll see a Derry Girls film, going on holiday to Bundoran.

Thought that Jenny one (the prefect) looked the eldest of everyone. More like Mrs Doyle. But she's 29

I thought episode two was quite weak. The only time I got a laugh out of it was when the place caught on fire. I really don't like the bits from the family home with the exception of the cynical old fella.

In regards to Erin's gurning, I can understand the complaints with it. I find I dislike her reactions when things are pretty mellow but when things go wrong, like the fire, her reactions make me laugh the most. I feel like it would be better if they toned her down slightly so she's not on 100 per cent gurn mode all the time.

I like it, and it's interesting to hear the Derry vernacular as opposed to the Cavan (Where I live) or the Down where loads of cousins live.
In the first episode, the way she said "Boke" was brilliant!

Thought it would be funnier, but let's give it a chance and see episode 2.
